Wow, MS OG 19" Aeros on a Model X? That's quite a unicorn!
In fact I have only seen one other Model X running 19" Cyclones (even though Tesla previously sold them as a winter setup).
I scheduled a tire swap at Tesla Service through the app just to be able to ask this question to Tesla (since...
Thanks. Per Tire Rack, the Model S tires 245/45R19 Max load is 1,874lbs (https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=X-Ice+Xi3&partnum=445HR9XI3XL), whereas the Model X tires 265/50R19 is 2,337lbs...
Would it be unsafe to run a Model S winter wheel setup (19” Cyclones, Michelin X-ICE XI3 245/45/R19) on the Model X for ~600 miles?
(So that I can transport them from the SF Bay Ares to Central Oregon where I will have a better chance of selling)
My 'Model X 19" Cyclone Wheel and Winter Tire...
For the record, I ended up buying the 'Model X 19" Cyclone Wheel and Winter Tire Package' (19” Cyclones with Pirelli Scorpion 265/50/19), and the wheels appear to be the same size and fit fine.
My question now is would it be unsafe to run the Model S set (Michelin X-ICE XI3 245/45/R19) on the...
I recently traded in my Model S for a Model X. I was just going to swap out the winter tires on my 19” Cyclones for the size needed for the Model X, but then found someone offered me a full set for the Model X. So now I am selling my full set for Model S.
4x 19" Cyclone wheels
4x Michelin...
I traded in my 2016 Model S for a 2020 Model X. The winter wheel set I had for the Model S (that I kept) are 19” Cyclone wheels (the ones that were an original upgrade for the Model S) with Michelin MX-ICE XI3 245/44/19 tires.

I haven’t done anything about coat hangers yet. I see that some third-party companies sell them, but I’m not confident that they will be compatible, or of an acceptable quality.
I wanted to file off the latch bit on the back and it seemed to me like they would likely work by just being hooked at...
I got all kinds of stuff with my Model S in 2016. But I think the days of trinkets are gone now that they can’t keep up with demand and are focused on margins.
I requested a refund and mentioned that the description of 'second-generation seats' was not useful to indicate compatibility.
Tesla provided an RMA and I sent it back and just received a notice that they will credit a refund ($46.43 of $54.63 within 7 biz days).
But I was happy to see that...
Yep. I just didn't realize when I purchased the coat hooks that they wouldn't work. There is no indication in the store for this item of what vehicles have 'second generation seats', or a warning about lack of compatibility with current generation seats. I guess you are supposed to deduce that...
I purchased Coat Hooks from Tesla (Coat Hooks) which say they are "Designed to fit in any Model X, or Model S with second-generation seats.", but they don't fit in our 2020 Model X.
So does anyone know what the current generation of seats is?
I remembered reading that they were updating the...
Thanks folks! I actually took delivery today. All items above were included.
But I'm glad I had this list as I was able to review it with the delivery specialist before he left Fremont, and he was able to locate a mesh sunscreen and the 2" receiver kit which weren't with the vehicle.
I'm scheduled for (home) delivery of a 2020 Model X (6-seat) tomorrow (Friday 5.7.20), and just trying to determine what accessories are currently included to check for.
I've seen some of the delivery checklists posted here, but want to make sure the info I have is current.
(I know some items...
Set of Silver 19" Slipstream wheels with center caps and TPMS Gen2 for $400
Does not include tires or lug nuts/caps.
These are off my 2016 Model S 75D.
Each wheel has some blemishes, and two with rash on the edges (see photos).
They could make for a good second set for snow tires.
Would...
