Apologize if this is repetitive. I have a 2020 model S long range. I just installed the software 2023.20.6. I believe that has FSD capabilities in that software. If I subscribe today to FSD, will I be offered the beta program to use auto steer on streets immediately?

I suspect that if I currently subscribe to FSD through monthly subscription I will not get the beta. Does anyone know the current time from monthly subscription purchase to access to Beta? Any ideas on when the two will be synonymous?

I was there on Saturday. Still activates / deactivates however seemed smoother than my previous visit.

The supercharger in Morgantown has major issues. Was there for over 2 hours last night. Starts, stops, etc as stated above. I spoke w Tesla, they said thanks for calling. They will report to maintenance.

Folks- Version 9 autopilot on anything other than highway is not on par w HW1 AP mobileye in my opinion currently. Pretty disappointing since I bought the car 2 years ago based upon my experience w HW1. Prior software to v9 was ahead. We are now behind again...2 steps forward one step back.

With every autopilot release people talk about the car “learning” and getting better w repeat uses. Has this ever been confirmed. I dont believe Tesla has ever released a learning algorithm that changes behavior in the same software release. True or False???

I received an email with a referral code for the Radioflyer kids car. But I have not received a similar email regarding the wall connector. I have one referral. Is the offer for either car or charger automatic or is this something I need to request? The referral took delivery in October 2017.

It still seems like something changed with the latest software releases. The algorithm seems to be different. I had my car all last winter and do not recall ever seeing the regenerative braking limited to this degree when it’s 47° outside

This may be in response to the Performance upgrade (uncorking) released to the fleet of refreshed 75d. I had mine done and its a completely different car. Perhaps the chill mode is the 0-60 5.2 sec that we were sold and the normal mode is the new 4.2 sec.

Different car. Before having it done I honestly thought I would have to convince myself there was a difference. That is not the case. Cannot believe the power. Wow!

No doubt its a beast. Agree nothing like it. But the autopilot marketing was outwardly deceptive. I test drove an AP1. Then paid more for an inferior product. Upper management knew that this would be a difficult process. No end in sight for parity in my opinion.

Updated-- Very dissappointing on may fronts. I think its time we all be honest in our opinions. Purchased my Model S Dec 2016. Drove an AP1 car for several days last week. Mobileye is different league unfortunately.

Just tested 8.1 on local roads. Its definately better than prior update. Very encouraging. The dash depiction of the turns is more accurate and realistic and the car handles turns much better. Struggles a little at 35mph but can handle most reasonable turns at 30mph.

If the update functions better than AP1 yes that would be sufficient. If AP1 performed like this in Oct 2015 they would not have released autosteer to the fleet. They are clearly under a lot of pressure.
