Finally took delivery today. The KC location was incredibly busy so they were running 45 mins behind the scheduled appointment times. They must have gotten a few trucks because the lot was almost completely full of 3's and Y's. Did not see any major issues or imperfections but unfortunately...

LOL. Exact same build as you (edit* sorry 18's instead of your 19's). Ordered in August and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Their EDD system and logistics workflow is beyond stupid. (not mad at you just aggravated with waiting 3+ months to get this)

Did they just tell you on same day your delivery was scheduled?

Finally got a delivery date scheduled for next Thursday. Emailed the SC to see if there is anything sooner but have not heard back yet. 3+ months from order to delivery

Got VIN over a week ago. EDD is currently 11/23 to 11/29 which starts tomorrow. Is it normal I have not received anything about scheduling delivery?

The EDD and other normal windows are gone on my page as well. The VIN is still there luckily.

I have same EDD as you and received VIN last Friday. No message to schedule delivery yet either. I did talk with the KC store yesterday and they told me to not expect delivery until the week of the 29th. Hopefully it is sooner.

Talked with my local SC today. They said I should expect a VIN in the next week and delivery the week after. So as an August order I guess that is better than nothing....

Yes. Mine changed (pushed back) a few days ago as I entered the EDD range.

After following this thread for a few months it definitely seems like the MSM color turned into a major blocker at some point. Since Tesla is A+ on communication I have no idea though. It is getting very frustrating to say the least.

EDD just updated again. Now 11/14-12/12 for an 08/25 order.

Curious. Did you call your local store or is there another option to get an update? I have contacted my local store a few times via email to try and get updates and they do reply pretty quickly but seem like they don't have a ton of information.

Midwest reporting in. Sucks here too for MSM.

That is what I said... If I take delivery in December then I have report the car on Jan 1st (1 month's use). If I push it and wait until after Jan 1, then I don't report it until Jan 1, 2023...

Sorry. August order here as well and was told by my local SC yesterday that they expect delivery in mid November. Hoping that happens because if it pushes to December I am pushing delivery to 2022. Not paying a year's worth of property tax on a 52k car for 1 month's use.

I would verify you still keep the 1 year of premium connectivity. As of the 15th any orders only get 30 day trial. Not sure on inventory models.

Yikes. It definitely seems like they do 1 MSM paint run a quarter. At least on positive side we are seeing people with that build getting VINs.

Curious what your order date and build are. That is the DC mine will be shipped to (eventually).

Waiting for my current EDD of 10/16-11/5 to get pushed out. Just based on this thread alone it seems like no one is getting VINs assigned after Q3 ended.

You had my same EDD. Just checked and mine still shows 10/16 to 11/5 so hoping it doesn't push further.

The sliver's are but the black ones still show out of stock for me

Yep. Same specs and OD of 8/25. EDD was pushed back a few days ago to 10/30-11/20. Do they only paint MSM builds once a quarter?

1 month from when I edited my order from SR+ to LR my EDD just pushed back again. Was 10/16-11/5 for the last 2 weeks. Now showing 10/30-11/19.

YMMV but after requesting they change mine to the part # with the new screen it only took about 2 weeks before the service center had it ready to install. Requested on July 2nd and installed on July 15th.

510-249-2490 option 2 Based off my experience they still have not fixed the issue. At best they just updated the firmware to half your charge from 48 to 24 amps after it senses an "overheat" which also seems to be a false reading........

Been messing with this for over a month. 2 different firmware updates and now I have gone from it shutting off with 3 red lights to just cutting the max charge rate from 48 to 23 amps about 45-50 mins into charge. Once charge is complete it resets itself to 48 amps. Seems like they are aware...

Got my upgrade done Wednesday and noticed it as soon as used sunglasses. Ended up doing the same thing using a nylon tool to get top edge down a bit and then was able to pull rest off.

Glad its not just me. Have Jan 2017 build and have noticed same issues on the video recordings since doing HW3 upgrade (still MCU1). Mine also has the bottom of the camera housing in the view which is annoying.
