Happy to report that this issue was resolved in December 2017 after a software update. Homelink connected to my garage door like times of old. Haven't had an issue since (as of this writing). :)

Same thing happened to me when away on a trip. I couldn't see the status of the vehicle from the app. When I got home, car was asleep. Doors wouldn't open when I pressed the door to open. I had to press the fob to wake it up.

I would slow play this and get an 100D inventory. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. I've attempted to reset the remotes to no avail. I believe the Chamberlain got reset, so starting there.

Since the software update, my garage door remotes stopped working after attempting to reprogram Homelink. I'm befuddled on how to fix this. I've tried resetting the Tesla and reprogramming Homelink multiple times. I believe Homelink affected the Chainlink system somehow.

One issue resolved. The Tesla app now connects to my car after I reset the car settings (hold down the steering wheel scroll buttons together for 30 seconds). @dark I have an inventory X with AP2. I received a discount for 1) referral and 2) 417 miles on the odometer.

The free supercharging for life was one impetus for us to order a Model X before the end of the year. Overall, closing the sale in 2016 was important as we all face a very uncertain 2017!
