I live in PHX and not having controlled ventilation in the S (for the rear facing seat) and having 5 year old twins is the reason we went with the 6 seat X. We love it.

That will be good for new owners taking possession. When I took possession they we not able to have it charged to 90% (only 50%). Fortunately I had the charging already installed at the house.

@number12 what did tesla offer you as a trade? Not sure about The state you are in but in AZ I get the trade in credit reducing the sales tax owed. That amount on $75k is almost $5k making the trade really worth $80k.

Not at all, the entire family loves riding in the X. The easy accessibility of the FWD are a must for my family with twins that are only 4 years old. We did the 6 seat configuration.

I went through a similar evaluation with the S and X. I so wanted to get the S, but we have 4 year old twins and putting them in the back seat was taxing. The X ended up meeting our needs with the ease of car seats and the FWD's are great for tight spot and parking lots. We do not move "things"...
