2022 Model Y LR Wind Noise.

Yes I’ve been feeling that breeze too in my new 22 LR especially when a truck passes me…But I have no idea where this comes from. I never had that with my 2018 Model 3. The window is completely closed and the seal looks good…Really weird.

    7 seat waiting room

Picked mine (F531) today. Flawless and so much better than my 2018 RWD Model 3 :)

    2021 refresh mx

I’m considering buying the refresh model but not until later this year once I have a better understanding of the new cell production timeline and the new tax credit we might get per today’s news: Tesla to get access to $7,000 tax credit on 400,000 more electric cars in the US with new incentive...

    Carpet Wear Near Accelerator

I noticed the same issue with mine after 2 years... Is there a floor mat design that can cover the spot?

Problems with "early" M3 production cars??

New Tesla 15.12kW Solar / 4 Powerwall order in Orlando

Thanks for the info! Did Tesla give you an idea of your future consumption profile with the 4 Powerwalls? Wondering if you’ll be completely independent from the grid

New Tesla 15.12kW Solar / 4 Powerwall order in Orlando

Thanks for sharing your experience. I live in South Florida and wondering what information Tesla gave you on the panel/anchor wind rating. I cannot find any info on Tesla’s website. What’s the max wind speed they’re rated for?

    Legit video of M3 crash?

Again a white truck...At least this time it didn’t go under a trailer and the driver is alive...IF that report is true, I don’t get why the autopilot is still struggling to detect such a massive obstacle on the lane well in advance...Inexcusable even though I love Tesla. Yes it’s beta version...

Vendor Custom Built Model 3 Headlights by Evil Headlights

Looks nice. Do you ship new housings? Is shipment included in the headlights pricing? Do we return the original OEM housings to you and get some “refund”?

Plug and Play Headlights from TesLux Innovations

I’ve just discovered this new company which builds very cool plug and play headlights. Has anybody pre-ordered them? I’m really tempted but it’s a little expensive... TM3 Pro Series Plug and Play Headlights

    Cybertruck Poll

What a big mistake by Elon...Specs are great but such a polarizing and, to me, ugly design...Really bad business decision.

Vorsteiner CF lip kit, can't wait!

Thank you for sharing these pics. Looks like it’s the track edition diffuser, which I don’t really like. Are there any pictures of the standard/non-track one?

    Unplugged Performance Installs- So FL?

They can do complete mods including bumper replacement. I got my UP moderate springs from them.

    Unplugged Performance Installs- So FL?

Yes, signature custom wraps in Dania Beach: Signature Custom Wraps Highly recommended. They mainly work on Teslas.

    I dropped it

The UP moderate springs are a little bit firmer; but it’s really not a big difference compared to the OEM ones. Cornering at high speeds is definitely sharper. It really changes the look of the car. I was jaleous when I saw the new Toyota Camry’s sportier than my Tesla LOL...I’m really happy...
  17. NukePower

    I dropped it

I’ve just got the Unplugged Performance moderate springs installed on mine. With the chrome delete and the powder coated wheels, it looks like I have a new car I absolutely love it this way. So much sportier.

    How to clean sunscreen stains?

I’ve been using ArmorAll cleaning wipes. Works perfect.

Cost of model 3 ownership first 100k miles

$425 seems a lot for your 25k service... I just did a service at ~20k on my LR RWD (just one year old) and they checked tires, air filter, and brake fluid. Tires and brake fluid are still good. Air filter change is $17 if I remember well. Tire rotation is $65. But I didn’t pay anything because...

Recommendations for Installer in Palm Beach & Broward Counties

Looking for recommendations for an installer of Unplugged Performance parts (lowering springs, spoilers,...) in Palm Beach and Broward counties. I'd also like my wheels to get powder-coated. Thanks!

Don't buy FSD for $2k more. [from 2019 - FSD upgrade not available for 2k at this time]

I have accumulated around 18,000 miles on my car since May 18. I love the car but as others have said, I have zero confidence at this time that FSD will be useful in the next 2 years. I use EAP and too often I need to regain control because I don’t like how it reacts (still too many phantom...

    Emergency Braking For Shadow????

I’ve had the same issue too. Latest instance happened earlier this week during a clear day on a highway. Another car was behind me and I’m sure the driver didn’t like it. I’ve had the car since May. I’m not a software guy but I don’t understand why Tesla cannot fix it...This could cause an...

    White touch up paint?

The red color PPMR is not available either on the Tesla site. So annoying!! My SC told me that the Model S red color is not the same. They’ll call me once it is available but who knows how long it’s going to take.

    Phone Call Echo

I’ve had the same issue...so frustrating. The echo only goes away when I disconnect my Iphone from the car; so it’s clearly coming from the car’s speakers/microphone configuration. I called my local service center (West Palm Beach) today and was told that this known issue will be fixed in the...

What do you dislike most about your Model 3?

I really love the car (handling, comfort, exterior/interior design - VIN 202xx). The following improvements should hopefully arrive soon via OTA updates: 1) Blind Spot Warning. I really don't understand why it's not available yet on the 3. It should be a priority. 2) I have an Iphone 6 and it...

    Tesla Crash in Indy

Thanks. Yes that would make sense if the accident was due to a sudden change in trajectory by the driver but if the car was coming from a straight line somehow (50 or so yards), I'd hope that an automatic braking system would kick-in.

    Tesla Crash in Indy

I'm not familiar with the exact details on how the current safety systems work in the car but could someone explain why the car cannot stop by itself or at least drastically reduce the speed prior to hitting a tree? Unless the driver had his/her foot on the accelerator, why isn't there an...

Anyone bothered by this statement on AP2.0 implementation?

I was reading the following paragraph from Tesla on AP2.0 implementation and personally, correct me if I'm wrong but from a safety perspective, this seems to be the wrong approach to implement AP2.0: "Teslas with new hardware will temporarily lack certain features currently available on Teslas...

How many kWh can they squeeze into the Model 3...?

I just read this Fortune article today: Why Tesla's New Battery Pack Is Important This paragraph caught my attention: "The 100-kilowatt hour battery pack will help differentiate the Model S and Model X from the less expensive Model 3, which is supposed to cost $35,000 and start shipping at the...

    Thank you for this info!

    New 2 year lease offer?

No it's not a good deal. You'll pay almost half of the price of the new car in two years...To me, it only makes sense to get a 2-yr lease for an inventory 2015 MS or a new 2016 S60.

Ready to join but should I wait for AP2?

I've just read that AP 2.0 might be available as a retrofit for the Model X based on a recent video from an owner showing that his model is already wired for dual cameras: Tesla’s advanced Autopilot 2.0 features may be available as a retrofit on older models Does the new Model S with new...
