Same thing happened to me yesterday as well in my 15 p85d and took into service as they werent that busy in dallas and they found that the unit was stuck in defrost mode and no air was coming out the normal vents. he coudlnt find what caused it though
thanks i wish i could go darket my self but the wrap allready draws so much attention that even now it just asking for trouble if i went darker on the front two windows.
i just got mine completed locally at my buddys shop. its full winco ir rejection setup everyone of my cars has this offering from them. So far i cant really complain as it turned out just like i wanted it.
grab it just under the bottom of where it connects and just twist it out. not hard at all you have to pry little when doring it on the green arm just hold the arm in your had and then just take it off by hand as you allready have the other side off.
got it replaced today they said failure of the MCU so i got refurbed unit and new cell module upgrade to lte had to pay for that though. was wondering what everyone coverage is with LTE i am not getting good signal strength on the dash.+
when i get my car back from Tesla its getting warranty for the 3g module that fialed i can show you. It simple use the vice grib grab the end of it though and just turn like swivel your wrist to the left.
that is what i used . simpley just hold it and swivel off takes only few mins then measure with the caliper the stock lenght and then adjust per 1mm increase in lenght for 5.6mm drop
i forgot also make sure you do the oppositve side of the green arm. the green arm is the weakest point so dont try to pry too hard. but rather grab the arm and then just flip with the vice grip like circular left motion
dont you user finger its pain in ass. i used this mini vice grip just grab on to the end and flip. I first tried a mini screw driver that worked good all the way up to the front left which sucked thats when i sued the vnose vice grip and worked like a champ
Mine failed today per service center so i am just guaging how often this happens. They offering me the ability to upgrade to 4G LTE for 500 but is it worth it?
never been straighted or scracthed i sell you a set of 19 just took off for 1300 shipped let me know i can get some detailed pics in the morning as it pouring rain here in dallas
These are the std one the evolution ones are nicer for sure.
The std one are whole turn with lock nut on each end
These guys here look very similar except no dust cover and its cheaper
TESLA MODEL S P85 P85D FULLY ADJUSTABLE LOWERING LINKS FREE SHIPPING
to do the install it fairly easy. If you have lift even easier. You can do this install in your home garage with just one jack and doing each wheel individually.
You can see the arm when you put the car in jack mode but i prefer to take it off. Its easier gives you more room to work.
Just recently removed from my 15" p85d used but excellent condition
tires have about 8k miles on it
I will get some better pics but this is what i have for now.
Make and offer as i am not sure what they are worth as i see prices range from 1500 on ebay which to me seems steep.
Ill have my guy at our shop who does the shoots take a good gander at it. I am not artistic one.
Yes it is loweredf on the links as well i got squared at 28" from the ground to the wheel arch. I could go another 1/2 up front but didnt.
not 28mm drop if you think about it 29.4 i needed to get to 28" and 29.8 to 28"
so 1.4 drop in inches and 1.8 in the front inches
so if you calculate 5mm = 28mm drop
1.4" to mm is 35.56
1.8" to mm is 45.72
so to get that drop i need to extend the links over factory by x amount in my case...
ill hae proper shoot done soon as i take it to my guy Jason but here are some details for now.Virentesla by tt300zrcr posted Aug 14, 2016 at 3:46 PMVirentesla1 by tt300zrcr posted Aug 14, 2016 at 3:46 PMVirentesl2 by tt300zrcr posted Aug 14, 2016 at 3:46 PM
