Vibration in Yolk at 70+ mph

I’m having the same problem on my 22 MXP. At the SC now for some other issues but the last visit, the tech drove the car with me and verified the vibration (pedal, yoke, can feel in in my seat) when driving on a smooth section of the freeway between 70-90 mph. Car has been aligned twice now and...

Plaid X Vibration at beginning of each drive: Who is experiencing this?

Just to add to the fun. I picked up the X plaid in mid March 22. I have about 10k miles and have noticed the same rumbling/vibration when starting a new drive (first drive of the day) for about 30-60 seconds, then it goes away. I just assumed it was something to do with heating the motors or...

Where can I get the 2022 X alignment settings?

I just got my 22 MXP aligned, hope these numbers help (which is on the printout they gave me) Front: (Specified Range) Camber = -1.0 to -0.1 Caster = 3.7 to 4.7 Toe = -0.15 to 0.15 Total Toe = -0.30 to 0.30 Steer Ahead = -0.05 to 0.05 Rear: Camber: -0.05 to -2.5 Toe: 0.05 to 0.35 Total Toe...

    Active Spoiler after software update?

My 2016 P90D just started doing this after the update that was done last night. I’m also on 2021.12.25.7. I did the soft boot when parked and nothing changed but after I drove a bit, parked and locked the car (for about 5 mins), came back and the spoiler was moving like normal.

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Just a heads up.....when they are mounting the battery on the wall, make sure you let them know that you may want to add a second unit later. This may help with a bit less headaches later on. They mounted mine in a spot which would require moving and rerouting of the piping to accommodate 2...

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Yes, that is BS regarding the "not taking installs if your not a Solar City customer". I am not a Solar City customer and there is nothing for them to retrofit, unless somehow the existing system is micky moused together or something?? They had no problems working with my existing solar...

    Powerwall 2: SGIP/Incentives

I did apply for the SGIP. I was curious about the discharge requirement as I am currently not capable of discharging the battery unless I kill the power to the house....which I am not planning on doing, at least frequently. The current word I got back from Tesla Concierge was that they will be...

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Yup - they do. I did this via PayPal.

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Yes, paid the total (approx $7k for a single PW2 unit installed)

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Based on my installation, I'd say it may be a good thing to have Solar City (bay area) work out the kinks before doing mass installations. Just for reference, my home was built in 2005 (planned community), with a main panel and one sub panel. Pretty vanilla in terms of set up. The guys came and...

    Powerwall 2: SGIP/Incentives

I signed the purchase agreement on April 12th. Pretty much a day after I submitted interest on the Solar City email to register for the SGIP.

    Powerwall 2: SGIP/Incentives

Something to keep in mind, the SGIP requires the installers to be able to provide usage data whenever requested. Part of the very vague language is that the batteries will need to be discharged 52 times a year, so whomever is submitting the SGIP for you will need to be able to provide this data...

    Powerwall 2: SGIP/Incentives

Finishing up the PW install today (took a bit longer than expected). Reserved PW last year in November Was notified by Tesla Energy/Solar City of the SGIP rebate via email on April 10th and completed on April 20th April 25 - scheduled a May 10th installation date The PW was commissioned...

    Powerwall 2: Installation

Man, this is a lot of stuff to read through. Quite insightful. Has anyone on this forum had their PowerWall 2 installed yet? I have an installation date for next week (May 10th) from Solar City and I was curious to see what the experiences were like. (Located in Bay Area, Ca)

I don't think Tesla will take Ghosting seriously

I'm 5'9 and I have the ghosting. My wife is 5ft nothing....and she has no issues. Extremely annoying. I do most of my driving during the day and since my sunglasses are polarized, I don't see the ghosting during the day. I hate that I love this car so much that it dulls my irritation for this...

MX XPEL seat backs. Worth it?

I concur also. I'd also recommend wrapping the rear seats if you have the 6/7 seat option. I can easily see those getting scuffed if you ever put the rear seats down to fit cargo (and crap).

Rim protection - 22" Onyx Black Wheels

Haven't looked into this much but saw this as an option at a detailer that I was pricing out for OptiCoat stuff. OCDetailing - Alloygator Don't know much more than what the youtube video shows. Might be worth a look.

Falcon wing scratching and scuffing other parts

@NoVIN4Me - I haven't taken it in yet. Once they get my replacement FWD window part in, they are going to check it out, along with a few other misc issues. In the meantime, I'll keep playing with it to see if I can see some sort of trend. This was my first interaction with the Dublin SC (and...

Falcon wing scratching and scuffing other parts

I was at the Dublin SC yesterday. I just picked up my X almost 2 weeks ago. The past few days, my driver side FWD would stop closing about 3/4 of the way down and beep, saying there's an obstruction/obstacle detected. To my surprise, it actually did it at the SC. Doesn't happen all the time...

That looks great! Love the license plate too! ;)

    Model X June Deliveries

That's the weird thing, nothing changed on the My Tesla site since I got my order agreement on May 5th. So, it is probably still safe to say that counting on your MVPA showing up on your site may not be an indication of production.

    Model X June Deliveries

So, I too got some random, though interesting news today. My DS replied to my email inquiry from last week (I try to not overly bug the guy). Car was ordered end of April and confirmed on May 4th (74XX). I was initially told production was expected to start end-ish May for an end of June-ish...

    Model X Chrome black out/Wrap

Which shop did you go to? I've been considering doing something similar (same color car!! ....though yet to be officially built). I wanted to see if there was a black chrome option, not sure if that would be a light colored tint overlay on the chrome parts or if the was some other vinyl tricks...

    Model X June Deliveries

That's great news! We have a very similar set up (except we got blue) and vin is not too far off from yours. Hopefully I hear some good news by tomorrow or so.

    Model X June Deliveries

Hi All - first time caller, long time listener. I ordered on 4/27, confirmed on 5/4 and received a VIN on 5/9 P90d (VIN 07441) Just finished reading up on this thread. I emailed my DS for an update. I was originally given a late june estimate, but we shall see. I'm also close to the factory...
