Ordered my M3P on 10/20. My sales guy called me and said they have matched me with the configuration I want. So my question is...what does being matched mean? Shouldn’t I have just received a VIN in source or on the website?
I've been reading though this thread the last few weeks and I find it strange that an no one has ever mentioned receiving an email like a few of us have gotten about selecting unavailable delivery dates for pickup. Most people have mentioned receiving a text message for pickup. Is this just a...
Still no VIN, but just got an email to confirm dates I am not available for delivery. The date range was between Dec 22nd and Dec 31st.
Ordered 10/20
M3P no FSD
Black Ext and White Int
Costa Mesa CA delivery location
Kinda weird and scary situation for me. I have a 2016 Tesla Model S. Yesterday 15 minutes into my commute going 60-70mph my driver side door popped open...not completely wide open, but enough to where the messaged on the dashboard came up that the door was ajar. I was able to hold on to the door...
Finally I can see the finish line!! My Tesla's status updated from " In Production" to "In Transit" with a delivery window of June 12-June 18th. After sitting in Production since May 20th its a relief!!
Let the sleepless night begin.... o_O
That's funny mine changed as well. Finally! I've been in production since 5/20 and I'm finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I have a June 12 - June 26th date.
So did you guys notice that the Model S 70 is no longer available online on Tesla website? The base model is now 60 and for a 9k upgrade you goes to 75.
Crazy!
I agree! None of this makes sense. When you think you have figured something out regarding production you get blindsided with something else. Lol
I'm still patiently waiting (somewhat patiently waiting). Car went into production on 5/20 and still no word. DS hasn't returned my email. He said...
Its ridiculous! I emailed my DS and told him to be straight with me. I told him that I rather him be honest and tell me the car will be 1 or 2 month late than for him to keep giving me false hope a weekly basis.
I have had the same if not worse experience. I always have to initiate contact with my DS and if I do he usually responds in 1-2 days. Also my car has been in production since 5/20. I ask him what the hold up is and he cant give me an answer. So not sure how any of this works. To be honest...
That's awesome!! I was hoping for some good news myself!! I've been in Production since 5/20 and its starting to get a little annoying now. How can a car be in production for almost 3 weeks? SMH!
I feel for you. My situation isn't as bad as yours, but to let you know I went into Production on 5/20 and still stuck in there. I'm coming on 3 weeks being in Production and my DS has no answer. Again not as bad as yours, but still a frustrating situation. Hopefully this coming up week will be...
This whole waiting process is starting to get a little old. Even my DS can't give me straight answers. Even if the car is a month late I wouldn't mind as long as its relayed to me and it's valid. Also the only reason why I need to know is because I have a current lease that needs to be returned...
I agree. My car went into production on 5/21. Emailed my DS and he said right now it's in paint and paint should be done by mid week. Isn't paint the first thing that is done? If so what has been done to the car the past 9 days? Anyways it doesn't make sense.
I believe myself and ZoomFPV are only a few numbers apart on our VIN. My car has been in Production since 5/21 and still is and his as far as I am aware hasn't entered Production. I also think he is located in SoCal like me. Not sure what the reasoning behind anything is anymore! SMH
So my DS finally decided to reach out to me and tell me car is in production....which I knew since 5/21. Lol He also mentioned I'm still on schedule for June delivery!! Hahhaha thanks a lot for the narrowing down the month for me Mr. DS lol
Its hilarious how you become a veteran in the waiting process then you see these newbies come onto this forum and you try to show them the ropes and tell them how to be patient! LMAO :p
Tesla must have the most robust website known to mankind! Thousands of us are constantly clicking the refresh button every few second hoping for status change! :p
Congrats!!!
What do you think the turnaround time is from when production starts till production ends? Mine went into production on 5/21. Also not sure if the factory is a 7 day a week operation.
Yesterday My Tesla changed to In Production and this morning I got an email confirming that it has gone into production as well. Things are slowly moving along ☺️
Mine was confirmed on 5/4.
I'm staying positive. I know people have said the status on My Tesla keeps flip flopping, but as of right now it says "In Production".
Just noticed My Tesla now says in Production. Estimated delivery still hasn't changed from Late May-June.
My DS is still MIA...
Anyways hope this gives us SoCal guys some hope.
