I hadn't seen a single one until the day I picked mine up, and after that it would be weeks between sightings. But there's been a noticable uptick lately. Now I see others 4-5 times a week.

As someone who's currently applying to work at Tesla, I really REALLY hope this is actually happening!

Here was my timeline: 3/31/16 ~30th in line at my local store (TX, non-owner) 3/22 Invite & Configure - White/Aero's/EAP (3-6 week delivery estimate) 4/13 VIN Assigned 4/25 ISA Contact 4/27 Payment Complete - Delivery scheduled for 5/11 This part of the wait is killing me!

Nothing you can do until VIN is assigned and your ISA contacts you. You've graduated to the 'waiting for my VIN' line!

My first Model 3 sighting in the wild? A truck full headed east on 183 this afternoon! All 3s, all colors, all aero wheels. None of them mine yet. :(

I'm coming up on 3 weeks since ordering with no VIN yet. Fingers crossed that the delivery portion goes as quickly as yours!

As of 1/5/18, there were 13 Model 3s registered with TXDoT. I talked to a rep while I was waiting to see the display Model 3 at the Southlake gallery and he claimed they had delivered 25-30 in Texas so far.
