I once bought a Mercedes and when I ask about gas mileage, the salesman righty said "If you are worried about the gas mileage then you probably cannot afford the car."
Supercharging is still cheaper than gas plus you get to drive a Tesla versus an ICE. Way better experience and very little to go wrong versus ICE. If you are worried about the cost of supercharging then you are looking at it wrong. Anybody I know who owns one never ever worries about...
Couple of things. Car was originally ordered in the fall of 2016. Once the 100D option came out I changed my order. Originally I had to pay to supercharge which is peanuts in cost compared to gas even at todays prices still way cheaper. But within a month they switched me back to free...
I plug into my garage with a 14-50 but only get 32 amps. With a J-1772 plug in a 80 amp power source will the Model 3 get to 80 amps or top out at 32 amps?
Ordered on 10/19 and will be delivered on 12/6 exactly 7 weeks. This will be my fourth Tesla and they have all been delivered with in the allotted time. Great Job Tesla
I had mine repaired after a flat at a Walmart on a Sunday in rural minnesota . Took them 2 times to get it to seal but it worked. However after removing the foam the tire was out of balance at any speeds above 65mph.
So far 8/32 after 8000 miles so at that rate I would expect 30k plus before the tires get to 4/32? Seems reasonable to me so far. Although got my first flat on 30 years after my wife ran over a truck tire remnant on I-90.
So far the Goodyear touring with the foam liners are wearing well on my 100D. They start at 9/32 and now are 8/32 perfectly even on all four tires after 8000 miles. If I replace at 4/32 at the current wear rate They should last close to 40k. They're quieter than the Primacy but the rear test...
I have the regular Primacy on my 70D and I know they have been Original equipment on many Tesla's but was wondering if any users have tried the Run Flat version. It seems to get the best reviews of the run flats on tire rack but curious if anyone had an opinion on them?
I had a flat on the goodyear grand touring with sound reduction tech. They are definitely quieter than the Primacy but at a walmart in the middle of nowhere they had no idea how to plug the tire at first. Finally after 90 minutes and tearing out all the foam around the hole a second time it...
I have Primacy on my 70D and Goodyear grand touring on the 100D. The goodyears are more quiet but the Primacys are also quiet and quiet good in snow IMO. No idea how the Goodyear Grand touring will fare there. I did just get a flat in the Goodyear and it was difficult repair /patch as they had...
