Good news for all of you who are still waiting for your car, Tesla just dropped prices again! So you actually did better than those of us who took delivery last week

When is it suggested to make the final payment and review/accept the agreements? I know some people pay the final payment day-of, but do you do the review/sign agreements then too?

How did this process work? Was it a car that was in a different state? Did the order page of that car state it could only be registered in x,y,z?

I think at this point you would need to find one in inventory and swap to it

no they do not, there is a state rebate for chargers (not sure if tesla wall connector qualifies) and federal tax deduction again

This is correct, software counts against the 55k cap. If you use the Tesla configuration page and add enhanced ap it drops the nj 2k rebate off the “cash” price section

Tesla has played this well because with the price increases recently it probably doesn't make sense to cancel

Wow so you can just match a car on inventory, reserve it and then have an SA swap it to your old RN? Also just noticed on the Ohio cars it says " This car can only be registered in IN, KY, MI, OH, WV" I'm guessing that's actually not a problem?

I would think they would want to simply maximize maximum units delivered before anything happens to the tax credit which could cause cancellations, though I think they are hedging cancellations by raising prices now, which would deter people locked in at the cheaper prices to cancel and re-order...

Wow, I have a rate locked in at 3.49 but I don't think my car will come in time within their window to provide all docs, so they will probably bump me to the higher rate if I have to re-do. unfortunate.

I wonder what their rationale is to build these units instead of the backlog of LR orders, especially with the uncertainty of the tax credit getting slashed.

This is more about the bill in congress about only issuing 1 plate for new cars from now on, and whether that bill has passed or not yet. It has not.

not marked as long distance but still awd, had been confirmed at some point earlier ago that those were the 4680 cells. People probably snapping them up to guarantee the tax rebate. Maybe some people also want the new battery tech?
