    Turn signal screen

The current signal screen location ( having to look down at my knee height) is distracting. Why not eliminate all the multiple steps and having to turn your head several times. Have three cameras appear ( left, rear, and right, split screen) every time the turning signals are activated...

Model 3 as a high mileage commuter car?

Any other large drivers have problems getting into Model 3?

I'm 6'1" 260 lbs, and old. I also set seat back on easy entry so it's even with the b pillar, and installed the 1.75" suspension lift kit. Helps to make entering & exiting easier as well as driving in deep snow.

MASTER THREAD: all Smart Summon-related posts go here

In my case, I drive it in or out of the garage, but my wife is not comfortable to back it out. In this case summon would be beneficial for us if it would be risk free. Or in another situation where if it would come to us across a parking lot in slippery icy conditions saving us from a potential...

MASTER THREAD: all Smart Summon-related posts go here

I'm also curious how tight a situation summon can handle for backing out of the garage. Accessing my garage is a tight fit. I prefer to fold the mirrors before and need to make a slight curve entering or exiting. To make matters worse I have no choice but to park a utility trailer right...

    OMG that truck is fugly!

Definitely a style that's not for everyone. Reminds me of the comments of the M3 front snout when it first came out. I think this design is appealing to the younger crowd that want to go electric, need a tough truck that blows away the competition at as very reasonable entry price point. Time...

Performance vs Long Range vs SR+ (still undecided...)

I suggest you evaluate your driving habits. Look at your longest daily driving routes and record your gas vehicle driving mileage for a week. Calculate the frequency & distances of longer road trips you take, & located the charging facilities on these routes. For example if your longest...

Where in Canada are you. I'm in Quebec, owned my SR+ since June and now have over 21,000 km. No issues. I suggest you record your distances on your gas car that you regularly travel for a week, and consider what would be your longest daily trip. Consider the frequency of the odd road trip you...

Any recommendations for the best seat cushion driver side?

I happen to agree with argon 2018, I find that lateral bottom seat supports put pressure on my outer thighs and make it uncomfortable. A thicker center bottom cushion or an added seat cushion would raise you up and lighten the side pressure. I guess it has a lot to do with your body's shape...

Model 3 Sub Trunk Wet Moisture

I had the car rust proofed with in the first few days of ownership. I was advised that there were some gaps at the rear fender joints from below. They told me I might have water infiltration into the trunk & asked my permission to seal them before doing the treatment. I agreed.

    Road clearance?

Living in Quebec, Canada, we have to deal with deep snow and poor road conditions. I also prefer an easier entry access & slightly higher seating position. So we will be installing a 1.75" suspension lift kit from Mountain Pass Performance. If your interested..... MPP 1.75″ Suspension Lift Kit

How long did it take to get your adapter?

I love road trips. So back in 2012 when I got my first EV, range was limited & charging stations were scarce. I pretty much did the same thing as you as in making up a whole lot of plug adapters. I'll probably do the same thing with the M3 when I get it. It helped in dealing with range anxiety...

Why Tesla doesn't have that swag appeal like a Benz or Porsche?
