Many thanks to all for helpful suggestions. We decided to stay in Highlands (rather than Cashiers) at the Old Edwards Inn. It has a Tesla wall charger available for guests. Simpler solution.:)

A word of caution however. The legislature is in session and there are a few bills which seek to alter the "alternative fuel" credit. You may want to keep a eye on developments to see if anything changes for 2017 tax year.

Actually, the Louisiana credit is much better than the Federal credit. Louisiana treats the credit as a "payment", so if your Louisiana tax liability is less than the credit ($6900 in your case) Louisiana will send you a refund check for the difference. :):):):)

We removed the badging right after delivery for CQuartz treatment and never put them back on the car. Like the cleaner look.

Yes, the process is to fully charge and then drive to only a few remaining miles. Then fully charge again. The Service Ranger advised likely there will be a significant milage increase after the second cycle, but the third might be necessary to reach maximum.

Three range charges to calibrate the new maximum is the exact recommendation I received from Tesla Service Ranger after our upgrade to 75 kw. Will be looking for your post with results. Ours was 249 rated miles after first charge to 100% after upgrade.:)

Not a big deal, but the album art for my "Favorite" Slacker radio stations has disappeared since this update was installed. Resetting the UI does not remedy the issue. The album art is still displayed for other stations. Any ideas?o_O
