I'm in the UK and mine went into production last Friday. Out of production and into transit yesterday. Still, that means delivery won't be until end of December/beginning of January.

I'm sure I read somewhere earlier in the year that Tesla had all the AP1.0 features running on the new hardware. If so then they've just got to finish their testing on that (or already have) and leave AP1 customers running with that until they upgrade. Presumably it's just* the driver layer...

Maybe not today (or December 2016) but I assume there will be over the course of next year and further. I've agreed to buy it now for £2k rather than the £3.1k later, and Tesla's pricing never goes down (although more recently that's our own fault over in the UK!)

I've also been told that I need to pay £2k to upgrade to enhanced autopilot (paid £2600, UK price now is £4600), but no mention of having to pay the £500 change fee. Still waiting to find out about full self-driving, I assume the £2800 on the configurator.

Good to know! The wheels for come with the pressure sensors; do you think tesla will sell these to me separately? From what can tell they come with the wheels if you buy them from tesla.
