    Abandoned Tesla blocking two chargers

Plugged in, but no longer charging. Has a few “friendly” notes on the windshield. No license plate on front or rear.

Loud noise coming from front right!

Thanks for posting this. My 2018 MX is recently making this exact sound, and I was about to post a recording of it myself.

    Shop.tesla.com support?

I placed an order for an all-weather mat for the rear of my Model X. I transport groceries for the local food bank and think it would help protect my interior. I received my shipment from Tesla, but for some reason they sent me wheel locks instead! I double-checked my order and I ordered the...

    Model X Lease Buyout

My lease ended September 19th. I purchased the Model X at the end. Kinda. Tesla Finance has been horribly slow. They cashed my check on September 20th, and I am still waiting for the title (or any kind of paperwork from them) now 7 weeks later. Despite several phone calls and emails on my part...

    Equalizer disappeared

Thanks for posting this. I couldn’t find it either. I use the balance feature daily to put my podcasts up at the drivers seat while I drive my kids to school. Now it’s less intuitive and harder to use.. but hey, progress?

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

One of the charging stations is in need of some maintenance. What’s the proper way to report this?

They have now covered each of the chargers with a Tesla branded white sack-like thing. No other visible changes.

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

Nothing new to report as of this morning. I’ve occassionally seen workers there, but no outward changes. They still need to put up the signs on the gray posts for each stall as well.

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

There have been workers there every morning but other than the removal of all of the fencing, the site looks the same. Still a boarded up “hole” and a missing safety post. Thanks to those more informed than I for pointing out the steps that still need to happen. Hopefully this goes online in...

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

Fencing is gone. Lines are painted. This thing is going to be open any day now.

They seem to be getting really close to completion. Landscaping was going in today. It looks like the electrical is not finished quite yet, tho.

    Cargo Net?

I have a 6 seat MX with two kid's car seats installed in the middle row seats.I often fold down the rear seats to make room for hauling stuff, such as delivering groceries to homebound community members. Because the middle row has a gap between the two seats, it's easy for stuff to slide forward...

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

No need for anyone to go out of their way to check on the status of this. I shop at this Fred Meyer 2-3 times a week, and would be happy to post if anything significant happens regarding construction.

Brakes squeak when backing up slowly on brand new MX

I've had mine for a month, about 700 miles on it now. The brakes squeak too, sometimes loudly, when backing out of my garage.

    Windshield Wiper Settings

The rain sensing wipers are awful. Sometimes they won't even trigger until the windshield is completely obscured. Sometimes they kick into high gear with a slight drizzle of rain. Totally unreliable.

    What is this?

Next question. In the trunk, on the driver side wall there is a rectangular hole. It looks like something is supposed to be there and they forgot to install it. Any idea?

    What is this?

Mine is brand new, so... yes they are still there. I wonder why Evanexx didn't utilize it for their aftermarket cargo cover.

    What is this?

in the third row, along the base of the window are two hinged flaps. What are these? Is it a place to hook in a cargo cover or something?

    Model X Review

Good write up and backs up my initial impressions of the Model X. This vehicle is a technological marvel. A true joy to drive, really. But it falls short in the category of practical daily life. Simple things that make it harder to use a primary vehicle. - Nowhere to store sunglasses. The...

Pulled over by a cop on Day 1

Thanks everyone for your input. I looked up the law in Washington State, and it looks like you are right. The rear window and rear passenger windows have no limitations on a truck or SUV. I agree that the officer didn't realize that this is an SUV. He did look at it and ask me "What is this?"...

Pulled over by a cop on Day 1

I took delivery of my Model X yesterday afternoon. This morning, while driving home with my family from the library, a cop pulled me over. He could not see the temporary registration through the tint of the rear window. He told me I needed to take it down, get it laminated, and mount it where...

    Model X September Deliveries

I'm finally taking delivery this Friday 9/16. It's been a long wait that kept getting longer for various unspecified reasons. Now that it's real, I'm starting to realize how much money I'm paying for this vehicle. Getting nervous.. hope it's worth it!

    Model X September Deliveries

My DS confirmed today that my car is finally in production. This has been an extremely long waiting game, fraught with delays. Now we'll see if I can get it before my birthday at the end of the month.

    Model X 75D Deliveries

I don't know if my VIN was assigned today, but today is the first time I noticed it. I had been looking in a different spot on the page for it, but I feel like I would have noticed. Finally it's getting real! 144xx

    Model X 75D Deliveries

No VIN for me yet, even though my DS says mine should get built in August for a September delivery. :(

    Model X 75D Deliveries

I confirmed my 70D (at the time) on March 9th. Pearl white, 6-seat with SAS, for a Seattle delivery. I still don't have a VIN, but I emailed my DS and he said I'm on the slate for an August build with an expected delivery at the beginning of September. I originally reserved my X on 5/27/2014. I...

75D and Just Got a VIN!

No VIN here. I confirmed on 3/9 and had SAS in my original order. I have a 6-seater without the PUP.

Where do you store your sunglasses?

In most new vehicles, there is a convenient compartment for storing your sunglasses, located on the ceiling just above the rear view mirror. Due to the giant windshield, no such compartment exists on a Model X. I wear prescription glasses, and have prescription sunglasses, and I switch between...

email from Tesla: Your Model X is built

I ordered a 70D and received a similar email, but stating I was on track for a mid 2016 delivery. He also offered to upsell me to a 90D of I wanted to take delivery in April/May.

What Can Model X FWD's Detect?

During my test drive, the "copilot" told me the forward camera detects speed limit signs. It also uses GPS data if it hasn't seen a sign. This tech has been around for a while from other car manufacturers. it has nothing to do with the FWDs though.
