No really. I am still getting people reporting the issue, but nothing from Tesla since we sent our petition. The problem is clearly still going on, but Tesla doesn't seem to care about it.

That's great, please, keep us posted. In my case, they did a thermal test, and everything resulted in being normal. I had to insist a great deal to have those pumps replaced just for the noise. And the problem has been reduced, yet not completely.

Just sit inside the car with all windows and doors closed, make sure the A/C is off, then focus on any possible humming noise coming from the front-right of the vehicle. The environment around you must be quiet enough to notice that though.

Thanks for the tip, but for this specific problem I am afraid the water pumps and the cooling system is responsible. The noise is clearly coming from there and not the headlights. Maybe that can help someone else!

I am sorry, but that doesn't work for me. The pumps eventually will stop after 15-20 minutes the car is parked and left alone, otherwise, they keep running, no matter sentry is on or off.

In my experience, the pump runs only when the car is in use (either driving or right after you have triggered something), and then it stops after 15-20 minutes if left alone parked. So, I don't think that could drain your battery if the car is left alone while parked.

48 dB was loud pretty much like mine used to be before water pumps replacement. For me, the noise is still there, much reduced (28-30 dB) but still there. May I ask you what Tesla service took care of your car? In what city? The fact is, it looks to me that the problem is affecting water pumps...

That's great! Thank you for reporting. You have been lucky. I got my pumps replaced as well, but the noise didn't completely go away. The noise has been reduced, but not gone. I am glad that worked well for you!

Yes, that guy had low coolant fluid in the coolant tank. Tesla service put it to the right level and the noise went away. Lucky guy!

It's so sad how Tesla is "normalizing" the noise by saying so and dismissing it. Compare the new noisy cars with older ones, and you have no idea how quiet they are. Nothing, like if they were completely unplugged by the battery pack. When you charge it may make more noise, and that's, yes, normal.

No, I don't think so. In my experience temperature is completely irrelevant for this noise to run. Just make sure the climate is off, and you'll be sure to isolate the problem.
