Officially out now. Bought an EQS instead because i didn’t have faith in Tesla delivering. I was right. Car ordered in June. Has changed delivery multiple times. I was sitting at Jan 14- Feb 11 for over month. Today it moved to Feb 2 - March 2. I will never be back to Tesla. They completely...
So let me get this straight. Tesla can’t manage to build my long range order from June (and others from long before that) but there are enough parts to have 15 inventory plaids available in Atlanta alone. They can stop usIng the BS chip excuse now.
After sitting for a month, as a December delivery (for the red/black combo) it has now shifted to Feb/March. The white/white bounces like a ping pong ball.
Exactly what the h&$& happens that after a month of the same date it doesn’t move a week or two but MONTHS. Tesla should pray the supply...
Congratulations to you! You can't control the monkey.
Plaid models continue to be of more importance than LR deliveries and the 3/Y even more so than any S or X. Yes chip and material shortages are real. The fact that your order date has absolutely nothing to do with if/when you actually...
You immediately take a depreciation hit when the new model year hits. Less important if you’re keeping it 8-10 years The used car market is conditioned that model year equals value versus production date.
Today my late June order has moved from January to the last two weeks of December. Mixed feelings….excited to get the car….concerned about late’21 VIN during end of year push.
I should also say that, right now, I have as much confidence in that delivery window as I do in preemptively quitting my job because I just know I picked the winning lottery numbers for tonight.
I’m regretting cancelling the Lucid. My wife’s order for a Mercedes in September shows up in December. They are able to tell what week and which items will delay delivery. This is really creating a sour taste about Tesla.
The monkey has been day drinking again.
Ordered white/white long range late June. It has gone October to February to blank to early December this morning.
Ordered a red/black long range August23rd. April to Mid-december last week when the white went blank. This morning when the site took...
on signature order White/White/21"/FSD I too have gone from February to Blank.
I placed a back up order on Monday this week for a Red/Black/21"/No FSD and it has already gone from April to Dec 15 - Jan 4.
Same here on my reservation RN11521 placed June 27th has gone to blank from February.
Likewise I placed an order on Monday this week for a MSLR Red/Black 21" no FSD. That one has gone from April to Dec 15 - Jan 4
I know this has been posted in the forum before but Tesla's awful fulfillment and communications process always reminds me of this scene.

This👆. We all understand there are supply chain issues across multiple products. Its frustrating but real. However, why can't Tesla be collaborative with their order holders in date order.
Hello Customer!!
I'm sure you are as excited about the Tesla Model S as we are! Demand for the new...
and my 6/27 order with the same configuration has now moved to February. I am out. How in 2021 can a company go from a 4 month delivery window to 9 with no repercussions? If they can build FSD (yeah right!), they should be able to tell you when you make certain combination choices your order...
Cross posting here. This could be the root of the existing issues which could also indicate a fairly lengthy production hold.
How Tesla pivoted to avoid the global chip shortage that could last years
This shift may now be manifesting in the issues cited.
new chips… new firmware

Finally pulled the trigger. The lease on my Panamera 4s is up in January. They aren’t dealing on anything right now, so I’m planning to buy out the lease and sell privately.
It's neither here nor there for me. I don't drive for Uber either. Microsoft licensing doesn't preclude you from using your home computer to do professional work. It precludes companies from buying home user versions (usually reduced functionality) to roll out across a company. (Similar to...
Ok.... I'm sure this will draw the ire of many. No I am not a troll. I am not hear to speak about the cars themselves. I looked at but ultimately decided against a Model S purchase...for now.
I think what the company has delivered to date is quite impressive.
However, this article, if...
I was told the same thing yesterday. I was already going back and forth on the price compared to a 750ix. (I know ICE...boo). However, the no gas and autopilot were the two real separators for me. The interior in the S is no where near the BMW in quality or assemblage.
With another price...
In the final stages of convincing the DW that a Tesla 90D is a reasonable purchase.
My question, in calculating additional costs, how many of you have installed the Wall Connector at home versus a 240V outlet?
