    Lithium ion batteries degrade with aging. Important factors are temperature and SOC. The degradation due to aging is relatively high with a new battery. With age the loss degradation is slowing down and it seems to almost flatten out. No scandal - simply degradation due to aging.

    :confused: No, definitely not. It implies that storing batteries at a lower temperature is better for their health. Back to my question: How old are these batteries, Wk057?
