Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yes, I agree whole-heartedly. Except replace "Kentucky" with "Texas" and "3/5" with "2/22". I'd be fine if you got yours before me. At this point, we're mostly in the same boat.
Maybe we're all at the mercy of our service centers now. Could it be that VINs are assigned at this point based on which centers have capacity to process and make delivery of new vehicles? Our SC is always packed in the shop as well as on the lot.
Same here. I'd love to see some MSM action. 2/22 config, MSM/Aero, waiting for a VIN.
Curious, do VINs show up overnight and on the weekends? Or can I save myself some heartache by not checking during those times in vain?
I'll be tuning in on the livestream and eagerly awaiting access to the Design Studio. This is a great day indeed! Hopefully they give us the details and access that we're expecting.
Exactly. This is something new and needs to be treated as such. Realize that it's a really weird thing to drive with FWD open and require users to consciously decide to override it.
That's a major bummer. I do think they have to understand that FWD's go against all sorts of trained memory. The car needs to go out of its way to be obnoxious and annoying with warnings. It’s different than driving the car with a regular door ajar.
I called Tesla headquarters last week (test drive reservation people) to ask this question. They weren't certain, but speculated that we would be able to give them our money as soon as the store opened for business on March 31. I'd love to know if there is more concrete information out there...
