There is no Supercharger in Thomson. I think it would be a good place to put one Just off I-20. It's about the only town with services in that area.

This site turns out to be particularly useful for me with my trips to the South Carolina Coast. It's my exit stop on the freeway before home! So I'm looking forward to it. The last place to plug on that freeway (I-20) east of Atlanta would be around Thomson, GA.

The "Steak N Shake" at this location is closed down. So now you have to walk across the street to McDonalds, Dairy Queen, etc for a restaurant or restroom.

I just charged at Millen last week and noticed that the charging stands are place "backwards" for longest cable reach. The units should be turned 180 degrees.

I noticed they had the same issue in Millen GA with nicely positioned stalls but the cables emanating from the "back side" of the chargers with the way they were positioned. They should turn these around.

That's exciting. I hope they are finished before Thanksgiving but it doesn't look like they will be. I would love to use that unit on my way from Atlanta to Charleston. It isn't essential but it is convenient.

I used the new Hilton Head Supercharger on Matthews last week and it worked great. I'm surprised it doesn't show up on Tesla's map on the website but does in the car. They need to update that as a marketing tool if nothing else.

Just down the freeway at SC-72 exit (only 2.5 miles from the split) has a lot of gas stations and a Hampton Inn. You would think that Hampton Inn would be happy to put it in the back of their parking lot.

My 2018 Model 3 is not configured for CCS charging. Does anybody know what it costs from Tesla to change or add the circuit board that allows it to use the CCS adapter?

I travel through North, SC a lot on my way from Augusta to Charleston. It would actually be a nice charger for me but not critical!

I charged at both the Lexington, SC and Orangeburg, SC Superchargers. There was one down at Orangeburg that I happened to luck into but it is a nice location with lots of amenities. Both were reasonably convenient and much needed. I haven't tried the St. George one on I-95 yet.

I would assume one is out of service since there are three controller units and each can power up to 4 heads.

GA is really starting to fill in. In South GA, Hazlehurst and Waycross might be excellent gap fillers. Northeast GA could use a couple also.

Are you sure you aren't looking at the number of stalls available in the car NAV system? If cars are charging, this number changes to let you know the available stalls.

It's also a very easy access off the Freeway also!:)

This could be a rush install in prep for the Masters Tournament in Augusta late this week. It may well be reworked with a more permanent setup afterwards so be prepared for temp closure if it opens this week.

Yep. If I remember correctly, there is a Cracker Barrel and Zaxby's on the other side of I -16. Either side of the Interstate would be fine as there are plenty of fast food and other things easily within walking distance.
