Eric, the simple reason is cost. I absolutely love my model s and I will buy another one day, but with a teenage daughter entering high school I realize I've got college to pay for. Plus, I hope to purchase an amphibious aircraft kit next year - just don't tell my wife LOL!
Soon to be new Model Y owner dropping in to say hello. After 152,000 trouble free Model S miles I'm making the move to a new inventory Model Y Performance. I ended up pulling the trigger on a blue with white interior i found in orlando just a few moments ago. I was going to wait for the new...
I just got an email from an agent from the Office of Defect. He asked a number of questions I WAS going to copy and paste here but there's a statement at the bottom of the email that makes me think I should. I'm to old and purty to go to jail! OK, full disclosure...I'm not purty...not one bit.
Tesla moved to their new location about three weeks ago. It still in the Town Center but moved to a building on the corner. The new showroom had an S, X, and a rolling chassis in it. Unfortunately, no shirts, jackets or other swag.
Hey Kutu. I was at the store today and was told that the Jacksonville service center is coming and it should be here by the end of 2016. I was also told that the current store will be moving a block away (still in the towncenter) to a larger location. This move should occur before October.
Hello all. I did a search but found nothing that answered my question. I'm looking to have new tires put on my MS and wanted to see if anyone here had any recommendations.
The tires are 21" non-staggered.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Brett
Today I had the pleasure of working with Herschel Walker. In fact, he rode with me in my MS to an event at our local VA hospital. He said he owns a Tesla (along with a other 100 cars of different makes/models). He's a really nice guy and an outstanding public speaker. He agrees to a pic with...
Today at around 5:30 I was driving down my street towards home when I see another MS heading in the opposite direction. I give him a quick wave and continue towards home without giving it a second thought. A few moments later I see those familiar headlights in my review. Just as I notice them...
Hey all, I just stopped by the gallery. I spoke to a rep named Ben (nice guy). He told me they're having a Tesla Owners Event there tomorrow night at 6 pm.
Just a heads up to my fellow MS owners...the Kingsland location went live last night. I haven't checked to see if it shows in car, but tesla's website indicates it's open.
O.K. This is the latest. I thought I was going to be able to tell you all that the charger is active today, but I cant.
I visited the site one last time this afternoon and noticed the white MS was gone as well as the other 2-3 contractors that had been working on their. There were no cones...
During my follow up stalk....err visit I noticed the MS was charging on the far left charger. The car was on the charger to the far right when I first mentioned it being in the "charging position." That lines up with the process you described. I have a few more things to take care of...
So, this is what it feels like to be a stalker...
Just drove past the supercharger and noticed the technicians MS is now backed into the "charging position." The drivers door was open so I couldn't tell if he was plugged in, but it makes sense to me that he would have to charge the car to make...
I can confirm the southbound on ramp is open as I used it yesterday. Both ramps had some pretty serious bumps at the expansion joint before...so glad they are fixing it.
Not sure if this was mentioned before but we shouldn't have to many problems with ICE drivers parking in our spots as it appears the Kingsland police are stationed there...at least in some capacity.

LOL, sorry about that...stupid fat thumbs and autocorrect.
Hey guys...just stopped by the Kingsland SC station. The technician on site says a rep from Tesla should be inspect this lactation tomorrow morning and, if everything goes as planned, could be active tomorrow by noon.
Washed the MS on Saturday, woke up Sunday and noticed it was raining. Decided to drive the wife's Volt to church to keep the S clean. Never again. The Volt is a fine car that, after 40k miles, still does what it's advertised to do, but man talk about a step down.
Hey folks! My name is Brett. Im a mid 40s retired military guy who currently live and works in NE FL. Ive wanted a Tesla for a while now and, finally, after a bit of mental back and forth I finally pulled the trigger on a CPO 2013 S85 (tech, sas, panoramic roof, 21" turbines) that I hope to...
