I have towed my boat with the X also, Its right at 5000 lbs, besides the lack of range it tows it well. I think a lower wind profile would also help, it made the X feel like a small car when connected because it sits high up on the trailer. I don't the the 5000lb tow rating is there for power...

To me the only reason I am looking for a 7 seat is the rear AC. We test drove a 5 seater and the rear was hot the entire time, went out in a 7 seat car and the back was much better. I will most likely never put the back row of seats up but the rear a/c is worth the $3000 in my book.

Yes no air suspension, the car does have air conditioning. I do have the original 19" wheels with TPMS sensors, and new goodyear tires on them. I also have a second set of good year tires, If you interested lets talk and I am sure that we can work out a deal to get you the car with the wheels...
