    over promise under deliver

actually that isn't how telsa plays the game, there haven't been many tesla recalls. the tesla scheme is to push the car out the door regardless of any flaws that happened on the line, and let the service centers deal with the aftermath of the poor QC at the factory.

GOP tax reform bill would end the $7500 EV tax credit (and other tax related grousing and grumbling)

I am not going to debate you on this, do what you want to do, I really don't care. all I know is that you cannot create writedowns on income that doesn't exist. in other words creating a business that is always in the red is going to have a tough time substantiating those little perks that...

that is a debateable point, some people have very expensive play time, and if you can conjure up a way to pay for it with pre-tax money that would work. why do you think politicos go to davos and the like for their "meetings"

Elon might be all for ending all sorts of tax code incentives but he doesn't have much backing, he's playing the game very naively, the interests backing many of the tax code breaks are far better placed and entrenched than Elon is, idealism can only go so far in the swampiness of politics...

the grey, who interprets the grey and who is bound by the grey is the source of so many issues. eliminating as much grey as possible and things would function so much more efficiently. see tokyo for an example of how a massively overcrowded city functions well because of strict societal norms.

Congress Might Rescind EV Tax Credit

While I agree that the solar/battery schemes are not ready for prime time using PR as a testing ground may not be a bad thing. as for LNG, forgetting the fact that it is a fossil fuel, and those are all bad:rolleyes:, the transporting that fuel to PR is problematic on many levels.
