@andrewket - you make a good point. I don't think I will pitch a fit since you are right, I had already had a referral in the system. I still think it really doesn't matter if I had a credit but I can understand both sides of the argument.

I was told the exact same thing a couple of weeks back when I ordered. The DS exact words were "Regarding the referral credit, both you and your referrer will be receiving the 1,000 credit." So according to him, the other $1k goes to the resident of the state.
