If you launch or floor it a number of times it will be ready sooner. It's about temperature so you can make it happen faster. I think they just know people want to have max power sooner so they gave everyone an option to get it to optimal temperature without using a lot of power to do so.

The temperature should have been easily fixable. It was able to know what the interior temp was, but it was always off from the setting. How they made it "use less power" I have no idea.

Depends on what you are using. All the logging I was doing was just Python and a few easily installable packages. If you're using something like VisibleTesla then you'd need Java, etc.

Has anyone else noticed the improvement to A/C? When I drove it this morning it was definitely an improvement on how soon it cooled down. Wondering if it is noticeable to anyone else

Oh and the throttle response seems to be better. When I pulled out of my garage, which has a slight incline into it, it felt a lot more immediate when pulling forward. Which they mention in the release notes having been improved.
