Looks great! Just I cannot create a profile as it requires an U.S. address...?

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

Well of course you can compare them. They are both cars. And some people can only afford a Lada. But if you read my post without the red rug then you see my point was not comparing the cars but the lead time we got.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

One of the reasons why I hold TSLA stock is that I (used to) think Tesla is 2-3 years ahead of everyone else in the electric cars crowd. Now, I saw a Chinese rival (e6) on the street. 80kWh battery and below €50k purchase price. They are sailing in U.S. too, now. Of course, nobody wants to...

    BYD e6

Just back from Intersolar in Muenchen, Germany. An interesting stand from BYD - they have showcased street legal BYD e6 (http://www.byd.com/na/e6/e6.html) so the EU homologation is done already. Obviously not as safe and not as appealing as Tesla, but 80kWh battery, vehicle-to-grid capability...

When finally LTE will be enabled in Europe?

My friend just got a new 90D delivered and he says he does have LTE, here in Europe. So at least new cars from March 2016 are LTE enabled. I called to Berlin SC but they said they had no pricing for a retrofit as of yet so they cannot do it (yet).

Fitcraft Savebox - new competition to Powerwall?

I am one of you who have a Powerwall reservation (whatever that means). However, I recently ran into this at a local trade fair: Fitcraft Energy energy storage Savebox HOME ~ Fitcraft Energy - energy storage I must say I am impressed. It includes a 6 or 8,5 kWh LiFe battery pack, an inverter...

    Elevation data

Hi guys, any way to have current elevation displayed? Google API does feed that info and it is used by the trip application, however would be nice to actually see the number ... Perhaps a web service?

When finally LTE will be enabled in Europe?

Anyone knows? With LTE being rolled out to most populated areas it's a real shame the big screen still takes so long to update via 3G...

    Subwoofer range reduction?

Thanks pgiralt. Very helpful and am embarassed that I did not figure this out myself. Pretty simple math :)

    Subwoofer range reduction?

Folks, I have purchased the N.V.X. subwoofer system and it apparently draws 15-40A based on the amount of bass produced. I wonder if you have any real world experience of range reduction with the amplifier on on N.V.X. This would be similar on the stock HiFi system though it has a smaller sub...

    85kWh?

Hi guys, I recently made a long trip including a few full-empty legs (easy to do in Germany where you adapt your speed for to reach next Supercharger!). I noticed that on the "meters" on the dashboard, the amount of energy consumed is around 75 kWh when approaching zero remaining distance. I...

Any way to determine latest car location?

"Latest" would be fine, but neither ios app will tell me that unless run in the background. Concluding: unless I can place a PHP code on a server there's no way, huh?

Any way to determine latest car location?

Well but that should be running in the background and also I should be on my pc. I installed ios Remote Tesla app and it does track the vehicle, but it must run in the background and provides no SOC history. What I am looking for is really to get the latest location and SOC without having...

Any way to determine latest car location?

    - - - Updated - - - Apacheguy: this sounds it would work but I'm not a techie to work out a PHP code on a server. Is there a service that does that?

Any way to determine latest car location?

Guys, I live in area where mobile signal is not always given. As other folks drive my car too, sometimes I would like to check the latest location or state of charge of the car. I think the car actually maintains contact with Tesla servers while online. Would it be anyhow possible to access...

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

Yes, delivered, brand new. The roof panel I posted earlier was (and is) also quite visible. To Tesla credit, they contacted me after I posted it here and suggested I drive to nearest SC (4 hours away, hm) to get it replaced. Still a happy camper though (I would not be so forgiving to any other...

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

Tesla should seriously upgrade its paint facilities. Not only the color is so fragile, but look at the paint drippings. How ugly.

    P85D Ludicrous Pre-Order Upgrade Available 9/25/15

There is (as many suggest) definitely something Tesla won't tell us. Which is, for an upgrade that costs 8250 eur here in Europe, quite disturbing. I had contacted the "eu-accessories" email contact that I wanted to upgrade my month old P85D to Ludicrous. I then received a call that I can do...

Remote S: Tesla app for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Bought the app and it was working great (except I could not figure out how to get the stats text window that is featured on the app store?). Then I changed my my tesla password and the app could not connect again. I tried deleting it and downloading it again, clearing my phone cache but no luck...

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

roof panel not aligned Hi guys, just got a P85D delivered last week. Couple of glitches like random sightings of "parking assist not available" (during driving) and charge port not opening, but both disappeared for now. However there is one that is degrading the sleek car look, see the picture...
