Hmm... the winter mats did not come with hooks...are you referring to the holes in the driver's mat? Strange but they are clearly made to allow hooks but the car did not have them. The holes have ridges around them so water can't get through. Newer versions of the mats don't have these holes...

I prefer to use my phone for Waze (even thought we finally have a browser for waze-for-tesla!) and the console dock is too far out of the driver's scan. I tried a bunch of suction cup mounts on the back of the screen pod and found them all prone to falling off in high temps and unattractive...

Several times I've inadvertently fat-fingered the pax window button when opening the drivers door to exit. It drops the window just as you describe and takes surprisingly little pressure to do this. I think there are other threads about this.

Pickup up yesterday. They said they had already delivered a few other Dual Motor 3s. Very pleased with the ride/performance vs a RWD 3 on 19" and continentals that I drove a couple of months ago. Convinced 18" are right for our road conditions.

Delivered as scheduled yesterday. A few paint fixes need to be scheduled, otherwise pleased with quality. Cincinnati delivery spec was great - no time pressures on our careful inspection. He had also installed out center caps pkg already - the 18' wheels look great with red.

I think it's by reservation sequence...I have two reservations, the first will let me select dual motors in the configurator but that option is greyed out for the second.

I wouldn't share my primary car just like I won't AirBnB my home - the systems that protects my interest would be so restrictive and expensive that it wouldn't pay out. If the payout were there I would consider investing in a dedicated vehicle to put in a system, or an investment in fleet...

Sure, the D has specific content (parts and software) that does not exist in the rear motor only car...and is more capable because of that content. In that case the value associated with the additional cost is evident. Additionally, the car costs more to produce, so it makes sense that it costs...

It would be nice to have a review unobstructed by the rear headrest and pillars...more importantly, I'd love to have a screen built into the A pillars for 'pass-thru' visibility like Jaguar had on show car lately. Those big pillars are really good at hiding cross traffic.
