I talked to the people at the Tesla store yesterday, and they reported that they are plans on moving this Supercharger station across the street (didn't know where), and it will be a V3. They don't know when that work will be starting though.

Just stopped by there this afternoon. The Tesla person on site reported that they think the service center will be open at the later part of next week. :D

I stopped by a few days ago and was talking to one of the construction workers on-site. He informed me that they were supposed to have an opening date of last Saturday (1/25), but he thinks they're going to be 2 weeks late. Take this with a grain of salt, as he didn't sound 100% sure he knew...

That's good, as my Tesla's MCU is dead, and I've been driving my ICE car waiting for them to open...

Last I heard, this was planning on opening at the end of January. I live right next to the service center, and they are still working on it. They do a have a few Tesla cars in the lot now, so I believe those will be the loaner vehicles.

There's a few car wash places in Denver that will hand wash the car for you. Bear's Car Wash in Littleton does this.

I have also seen about the same reduction in my bill with this, and I don't have solar either (roof layout doesn't really work for it sadly).

I know there's a Model 3 owner in Cheyenne, as I saw them driving around while I was in town visiting the 'rents.

I did charge in Aspen as I was there for a few days. I charged in the Aspen city garage. I did then go home via Glenwood springs and got a supercharge there.

I've done it a few times. I have a 70D, and left with a full charge. Got a good charge up in Silverthrone, then drove over Independence Pass into Aspen and Maroon Bells. You can make it all the way to Glenwood Springs before you need another charge.

I'm curious on what kind of hit you took with the range for your car with the box on, and with just the roof rack on. Looking at putting one on my 2015 Model S.

It's going to need it. Was up there a few weeks ago skiing, and even then almost all of the charging spots were full. I'm thinking this winter it's going to be packed.

From what I've heard from the store they plan on keeping the superchargers in the garage, but will be used for their demo cars only.

Wouldn't that be in Cheyenne, WY off of I-25? Not too many people go up to Laramie from Fort Collins taking US 287...

This is why I like Superchargers being right by a hotel. They're open 24/7, have decent restrooms, the lounges are somewhat comfy, and most of them do have a snack/drink area that's open 95% of the time.

My one year anniversary for my car was about a week ago. I've put 31,000 miles on it, and still love driving it every day! :)

I'd love to go, but I'll be coming back from Moab, UT that weekend, and won't be able to make it. :(

All I ask is that you don't clog up the Supercharger system. We have a taxi down here in Denver, CO that ALWAYS has his Tesla at the Supercharger at Park Meadows. I don't mind him using the supercharger network, but the one out by DIA is a lot less used, and the Park Meadows one is always full. :)

I would recommend shopping around. You are going to get hit due to your age, but some insurance companies are more willing to work with young drivers over others...

I did mine on Taxact, and had to find the form for the car. Filed it, and it took about 3 weeks to get the refund. Got it last Friday.

Got to use the new supercharger over the weekend. They did a really good job on the location!

I have no issues taking my 70D from Denver, CO up to the ski resorts during the winter. It does an amazing job in the snow. I just have to hit the SC on the way back home due to the battery loss.

There's a 80Amp charging station up at Estes Park, CO as well. J1772. It costs $1/hr, but rarely used, even in the summer.
