Mine has been resolved. Either because of 2018.32.2 or the Hard Reset that Tesla Service did recently. Both occurred at the same time.

There are 0.3 km difference between the two readings. So the averages can easily be different depending on what happened in that 0.3 km.

I think the safest way (to avoid a stolen car) is to remove the battery. Easier than a tin can perhaps. Then wont the car lock itself when the key is not present anymore.
