are you sure it said 100k miles and not "UP TO" 100k miles.... whcih is what thy typically gave for used cars... the old warranty for used was 4 years 50k miles (added to the miles on the OD when you bought it) for instance my car had 28k miles on it, so the 4 year 50k miles went to 78k miles...

you should get an email invoice of what they did... but it sure is not detailed at all, and they always seem reluctant to give you any details as to work performed. certainly anything that they did for a previous owner... which I understand not giving details of previous owner, but telling...

2013 (Dec) model S85 87,500 miles

last week I went from 220 miles at 90% to now 200@ 90%, without a software update. 100% was 252, now its 218... yet remotely tesla says its perfectly fine... it happened overnight... not over a month or 2. seems like a small cell of 3-5kw has gone bad, does that seem logical ?

in no way am i trying to suggest your work was bad... obviously you have limits based on the pictures you had to work with... i certainly couldn't do any of what you did! no offense intended if you took any.... i can;t imigine the wheel bases would be different, as the idea is to streamline...

that's a really cool way to compare, however it seems a little off to me, i doubt the wheel base is actually different, that would add complexity to the build process and doesn't streamline assembly lines. the skateboard should be the same, and throw different body on it.

GEN 1 have to be programmed by tesla, I upgraded to Gen 2,you have to change out a the sensor in the car, i don't remember the cost. but i have 2 sets of wheels, so i can rotate and swap wheels on my own now and not need Tesla to reprogram.
