I have charged here a couple of times a week for the last 3.5 years. This location has become extremely busy especially since the 3s have arrived. I agree CLT is in need of additional SC. Southwest side of Charlotte on 485 somewhere between 85 and 77 would pick up traffic from south and west.

More progress this week!

It is necessary to have the screen option for opening the charge port when at a non Tesla charging station. Interior lights turn on when you touch the light.

I have 2 years and four months of teleporting. 70K Miles of the most satisfying, out of this world, trouble free driving experience. Although I will say this car may have caused some Mustang owners to visit their service centers to complain of lack of acceleration.

Winston Salem would also serve 52/I74 as well as I40, although construction in GSO has officially begun!

Sometimes Tesla uses the same contractor in a three or four state area, so I am hoping the Myrtle Beach contractor is loaded up and heading to Statesville!

There is also a Big Shots Tavern, two hotels, and at an intersection of two interstate highways. Great location!

Bristol was showing for 2015 a few months ago on Tesla site. Now showing 2016. Bristol is really needed for that charging limited area. Especially when we are coming from NC mountains and not yet on the SC network.

Any intel on permitting for Bristol Va?

Looks like Bristol is the missing link now for the route to Knoxville. Hopefully early 2016.

Just got info from Tesla source that Wytheville should be permitted soon and started this year. Bristol probably first of next year.

Any idea where this crew is working next? Hopefully down I-81.

Nissan Chademo in Hickory is a good temp bridge to Asheville. The folks there were great! Even moved the cone when we were backing a Tesla into the spot.
