came back and 80% of my battery had vanished.. help please?

Hey guys. I parked my car inside a garage at work, and when I came back 8 hours later noticed the batter was only at 10% whereas normally I have about 60-70%. The HVAC didn't seem to be running or anything. (once I inadvertently turned the HVAC on my app on my other model s). any ideas what may...

    Northern Virginia Model Y started

Out of the blue, I called my previous rep at Tysons and asked about trading in my P85D for a Model Y and if they had any in stock, I was just kicking tires. I had never placed an order online up to this point because I was not in the market. Turns out they had a brand new Blue Performance on...

Brand new X owner, walk-away locks will not work..

thanks everyone for your replies. I think it's proximity to the key fob. Testing various distances with the key fob this morning we found if we keep it in the dining room, the car auto locks. Any closer and the doors unlock and remain unlocked even if you dont open the car doors.. they doors...

Brand new X owner, walk-away locks will not work..

Hi guys love the car but bummed that when we exit the car and mirrors stay out (even though auto fold is enabled) and more importantly the car does not lock even though walk-away lock is enabled as well. have tried a restart, refresh and even Tesla CS helped us online. It worked at first but...

    Help justify my P85D dreams

My car impresses everyone that rides in it - but the driver most of all. Everyday. I didn't test the 85D so I can't comment. But if I did I'm afraid I would always be asking myself - "Should I have spent the extra money and gotten the P85D?" It's just a personal thing.

What Swag did Tesla give you at delivery?

Got a mug which I love. They also offered the windbreaker but I declined. Chose a blanket and a t shirt instead. Also key fob covers - though aren't these standard now?

    Model S - Window Tinting

Don't notice anything through the tinted windshield in terms of distortion or rainbows by itself. BUT when I wear my polarized sunglasses and look out the windshield, I now notice notice purples/blues coming off most other car's windshields. Occasional rainbow every now and then. Nothing...

Hi everyone - thanks for the love! 1. Tint is Spectra Photosync 75 windshield, 45 everywhere else 2. Chrome deletion was done by Raail application - think Plasti-Dip but much better, since Raail is made especially for cars. Super Durable and very tough. Economical, removable, replaceable, and...

Phase 3 done and I'm a happy camper

Phase 1 was fresh off the assembly line: Jaeger looked like this: Phase 2: Chrome deletion, Xpel Ultimate, Opticoat Pro +, and had the wheels treated. Now he looked like this: Loved it but couldn't wait for the tint. Phase 3: Photosync on all windows and I'm really loving how it came...

    Model S - Window Tinting

a little cross posting. Just had Photosync done today. 45 on all windows except the windshield which I have at 75. All in all extremely happy. There's only one installer in the DC/MD/NOVA area so it was a bit of a hike but well worth it.

    Tesla moments

Driving along 495 during rush-hour, bumper to bumper as usual. A moving truck kept pulling along side me and was 'gently' honking his horn a few times. I thought he was trying to get in, but instead he just wanted to get my attention. The driver proceeded to stick his hand out his window, point...

Supercharging - Elon's statement that Daily Supercharging Users are Receiving Notes

New Tesla owner - lucky to have a SC in Woodbridge where I work. I frequently have to drive between Woodbridge and Bethesda and then up to Towson, sometimes putting up to 150 miles in a day. Though I have a HPWC charger at home which I use, sometimes I just don't have the time or range to make...

Yup - it's the SC in Woodbridge, and it's gorgeous, and only 1 mile from one of my workplaces.. Again - thanks for the kind words everyone. Phase 2 on the way - powerdercoating the wheels dark grey, Opticoat Pro + and XPel shield, and likely chrome deletion. Will post more pics of version 2.0 soon.

    Must have accessories?

Thanks for the suggestion. I heard good things about the "Slime Kit" a while ago and coincidentally ordered it last week. But when I took delivery of my p85d yesterday in Rockville, I was pleasantly surprised that the Tesla Tire Repair kit is included free with all vehicles delivered in Maryland...

    Wow, it's really quick.

Not a formal review, and still within the first 24 hours of ownership. Just thought I'd share my thoughts since everyone talks about how the p85d is insane from 0-60. it's also really really quick from 60+. I was driving in sport mode this morning to work, doing a casual 64 mph. Decided to...
