'Tesla Opening Retail Store in Edinburgh this week'... Apparently...

Indeed it was, and I thoroughly enjoyed it - lots of interesting people to talk to. Was anyone else from this forum there?

Model X US pricing v UK equivalent expected pricing?

I've just been approaching the Model X pricing in a different way. I've had a look at the Model S pricing on the US and UK website to see if there is a constant ratio and found there sort of is, though it gets less favourable as the cost goes up: US Price in USD UK Price in GBP Ratio UK/US...

    Joushep's Tesla Videos

Well, according to Google translation it says: Hi Hi, I'm Joseph , I 'm sorry to write Turkish first of a song but the English I 'm trying to make is not very good where you make a very good job , I share the video -existent as I got people's access to more information about this amazing tool...

    Random Model X sightings

Do we know anyone who's waiting for delivery of a white model X?

    Robert Llewellyn's Fully Charged

The latest fully charged episode is probably the only one you'll ever see about autopilot where the driver never takes his hands off the wheel. Probably something to do with a Tesla employee doing the driving...

    Tesla on bbc

And now autopilot is available in the UK expect a new story of doom and gloom shortly... To be fair, the story linked to by S'toon does include the warning from Elon about not trusting it yet, which seems fair enough.

    Tesla on bbc

I thought it was quite an interesting program, giving a real insight into the modern process of building a car, but at the same time utterly useless. They were trying to tie it together by following one particular car being made, but constantly missed being able to show it actually being made...

    Tesla on bbc

I assume blobert07 was referring to Building Cars Live Episode 1, which has a section about electric cars in Norway. I imagine the link will only work for those of us in the UK.

Model X Launch invites have gone out

Now there's a dilemma. I've just got the invitation, but it's a long way from Northern Scotland and my other half has an important job interview that day so we couldn't make a holiday out of it. It's still a bit tempting, but I think I'm going to have to pass. Watching the streamed video...

If Electrochromic windows are offered on ModelX. Will you choose this option?

Living in a fairly northerly location I'd prefer my windows not to be tinted at all, as it's dark a lot in the winter months and dull a bit more than I'd like in the summer, certainly this year anyway. On the days when it is sunny I want to enjoy the maximum amount of light. However, if the...

Why couldn't the Model X be an eight seater?

That would be good, then we could sell our campervan when the X turns up. A double bunk in the trunk would do though. I suppose having three across the front would possibly not leave the driver with much elbow room. But I wonder if it would be possible to turn the central console into an...

Why couldn't the Model X be an eight seater?

I'm suggesting two seats in the 3rd row, due to having to fit them between the rear wheels. However, the first row isn't between the front wheels so should have enough space for three seats, same as the second row.

Why couldn't the Model X be an eight seater?

Just as a random thought, to keep us amused in our wait for the X, why couldn't the Model X have three seats in the first and second rows? It appears to be a relatively wide car, doesn't have a transmission tunnel or gear lever to get in the way, so there ought to be the space for three seats...

B pillar mounted side camera on the Model X mule(s)?

I was just surprised no one else had commented on it, so it finally got me to register here to point it out. The competition may usually put these sort of cameras in the side mirrors, but if there aren't any side mirrors, they'd have to be somewhere else...

Theory: Model X has "transparent" A pillars (see-through video)?

If it is a camera I thought it would be useful for several things 1. Creating part of the overhead view for reversing 2. Checking for obstructions when opening the falcon wing doors 3. Autonomous driving, where having more information about what's going on to the side of the car could be useful...

Theory: Model X has "transparent" A pillars (see-through video)?

I've noticed something in this photo that doesn't seem to have been discussed - at least not that I've seen, though I may have missed it. There appears to be a camera or some other sort of sensor at the top of the driver's window at the back, just below the chrome edge to the roof. Is that a...
