I thought it was quite an interesting program, giving a real insight into the modern process of building a car, but at the same time utterly useless. They were trying to tie it together by following one particular car being made, but constantly missed being able to show it actually being made...

I'm suggesting two seats in the 3rd row, due to having to fit them between the rear wheels. However, the first row isn't between the front wheels so should have enough space for three seats, same as the second row.

Just as a random thought, to keep us amused in our wait for the X, why couldn't the Model X have three seats in the first and second rows? It appears to be a relatively wide car, doesn't have a transmission tunnel or gear lever to get in the way, so there ought to be the space for three seats...

I was just surprised no one else had commented on it, so it finally got me to register here to point it out. The competition may usually put these sort of cameras in the side mirrors, but if there aren't any side mirrors, they'd have to be somewhere else...

If it is a camera I thought it would be useful for several things 1. Creating part of the overhead view for reversing 2. Checking for obstructions when opening the falcon wing doors 3. Autonomous driving, where having more information about what's going on to the side of the car could be useful...
