Yes it’s true. My car is also in service right now for this issue. GPS antenna is in the rear glass so it has to be replaced along with the high mounted rear brake light. Seems like this is becoming a common issue and it’s not a cheap fix!

Did you ever get in FSD beta?? I’ve had all the required equip since 7/20 and safety score of 97 and still haven’t gotten into beta. 2017 Model S.

Had my cameras upgraded today. My side repeaters are the black ones. They look cool, but not quite right with the rest of the chrome on the car. Should they have installed chrome around the new cameras or is this the new standard? I’ve posted a couple pics, but the lighting wasn’t great.

Anyone have this issue? 2017 Model S. I’ve tried hard reset and powering car completely off and nothing seems to work.

So I’ve got an appointment soon to upgrade to MCU 2 and HW3. My current screen has terrible yellowing around edges, but wasn’t worth doing anything about it since I assumed I would be getting a new screen with the upgrade. Are you saying it’s possible that I won’t?

I’ve got an appointment in 2 weeks for MCU 2 and FSD upgrade. I got the invoice today and said it will be $2500 plus $200 in tax. Is this right? I thought the $2500 included taxes?

I have an S with 19” tires. I didn’t realize they were staggered. Thought they were the same all the way around.

I need to get my tires rotated and was wondering if I should have it done at Tesla Service Center which is an hour away or Kauffman Tire which is 5 minutes away. I know there are special jack points and I’m worried Kauffman tire will damage something. Any suggestions??

How on earth do you buckle the kids in?? I just got my car and have 2 kids in boosters. One is 9 & one is 6. They can't even buckle themselves in because the buckles are so hard to get to. So I have to buckle them in like when they were 2! Frustrating. Got to be a good solution???

If you look at your specs on the car does it say APH2 or APH3? I ordered July 8th and mine is being delivered next week and my specs say APH2 which is not the updated autopilot.

I take delivery of S75 next week. It's an August 14 build. I'll let you know what mine has.

I think u are correct. I ordered S75 and have DU01. I think DU00 is also a new drive unit for dual motor cars.

My car is supposed to be delivered in early September. My code shows BTX5 which is the old code for 75kwh and DU01 which is the new drive unit. So I'm guessing my car will not have the new 85kwh battery.

I agree with you greywithana. I think we ordered around the same day (7/8). I received a $2500 showroom discount and along with the new .99% financing I feel good about purchasing the car when I did. Would have liked SAS, but for the delay and money it would cost now definitely not worth it...

I have the same issue and also called and OA confirmed that I'm still receiving it even though it's not showing up under my specs. Ordered 7/8/17.

If you don't take delivery until August your car will have the new drive unit & the increased performance. No uncorking necessary.

My OA said exactly the same thing. Ordered July 8th and confirmed the 11th. Only option now is to cancel and re-order and lose the $2500 deposit.

Go to your mytesla page and view your specs. Your car will probably be exactly as ordered, but with new lower price. At least that's what mine showed.
