Great, thank you for the photos! I can see where it's sticking out, I'll watch for that when taking delivery of my car. I'd be more concerned with water getting in there, although not sure if the charge door really protects the charge port that much from the elements.

I've ordered a Model Y, which I expect to have sometime next month. I currently own a Performance Model 3 and want to sell it before then. It has EAP, with an option to purchase FSD for $5K. If I sell the car, will the new owner have the same opportunity to purchase FSD for $5K? If not...

What configuration did you order? I assume the three different VINS are inventory cars they had, versus having to wait for a new built.

Also ordered mine on February 4 and had the March 4-28 (or so) range and today I noticed it now says "4-8 weeks from purchase date". No VIN yet.

Mine went from March 4 - 31 to "4-8 weeks from order date". Order placed on February 4th. So, still the same time frame, but interesting how they've changed it. It did briefly show a range of dates in February at one point, but that only lasted for a day.

That's what we do with two Model 3s and it works fine.

Yeah, that looks pretty sloppy all around, and you can definitely see where that small window is sunken in a fair bit relative to the other window.

Oh, I do agree that the longer bars you can get with other racks are nice. I've used a large cargo box with at least one mountain bike on the roof before (and probably could have gotten two), but not sure that would be possible with Tesla's rack.

I've had racks like this before on other cars (from Yakima), and I'll never get one again. These use clips that sit between your door and the roof, and I can't imagine how they wouldn't damage the chrome trim on the Model 3. I also think this is a bad idea with frameless doors, as I wouldn't...
