A site improvement plan for Park Meadows that has was submitted to the city of Lone Tree shows that these chargers are slated for removal as part of the redevelopment. The plans do not show them getting moved into the new parking structures that will be built, however that could be a subsequent...

These appear to be online as of Friday the 7th. The on in Dubois has a successful charge on PlugShare and photos show it to be a Freewire unit. No check-ins or photos of the Lander one yet.

Yo! I figured that not everyone would necessarily follow forums so adding them to PlugShare should raise some awareness and possibly get locals to check out the progress.

I did not see any sounds of workers and unfortunately there does not appear to be any further changes on the permit which is still in “needs resubmission” status.

Dang, you beat me to posting! I was there earlier today and saw the same progress.

As an alternative, there is a DCFC that was installed in Walsenburg by EV Trail that has CCS and CHAdeMO. It's a couple miles north of US-160 so not on the direct path between Alamosa and La Junta/Trinidad but convenient enough.

Wolf Creek replied to my ChargePoint tip about the price with this so at least it’s not permanent pricing.

Too bad the ones that just opened in La Junta are even dumber! $0.35/kWh and $0.25/min and $2.50/fee! Then they have $0.50/min while not charging after 15 minutes grace.

I'd recommend taking I-15 North to Salt Lake City, then taking I-80 East to Rawlins, then taking US30 & WY-487 to Casper, then I25 North to Sheridan and finally US-14 West to Cody. @pox installed a level 2 charger in Cody that will help charge up to get back to Sheridan and reverse the route...

@nwdiver, if ClipperCreek won't work with you, have you considered Grizzl-E smart EVSEs? Still more expensive than HPWCs and only 40A instead of 64A but they do support OCPP for logging and billing if desired and look to be well built with a good warranty.

Do you have a CHAdeMO or Setec CCS adapter dpg? If so, could charge a bit extra on the way to Craig and if it’s offline when you get there then you might be able to make it to Steamboat and use the ChargePoint or at least only need a short charge at YVEA’s level 2 in Craig.

For shortest route, I think you'd be better off going to Laramie and then Wheatland instead of Rawlins then Casper from Kremmling though your planned camping spot makes that a bit useless. Plus it still allows for bypassing the Denver metro and 25 madness.

It's to close the largest between Des Moines and Indianapolis via Peoria. Additionally with the superchargers going in to Hannibal, MO and Waterloo, this location helps close the gaps between Saint Louis and Minneapolis. Pretty strategic location in the scheme of the network.
