    white dot on my paint

Hello, I took delivery of my Model Y back on 3/31. I was hand washing me car, and I realized that there appears to be a white dot on the paint. I can't feel any scratch or any damage on the paint. I read some threats, some say that it's not worth worrying about, some say it's fixable. It's...

100% range on new Model Y LR with 3 miles on it calculates to 301 miles

Hello, My MY is a month old and just about 1KMiles. If I pull the charge to 100%, and look at the miles it shows 259, not 260. 80% shows 207 not 208. a mile probably doesn't matter, but shall I be worried or it this normal.

    Wrong speed limit in FSD/Navigation

Almost got a ticket for this. CHP doesn’t care up to 80mph but 85 sure will get you a ticket. That’s 405N in California. Probably looking at 65MPH.

Model Y RWD is now long range (May 3) in the US

I was thinking the same. If the battery is the same and software is stopping at 81.250% (260/320); and doing 80% of that; means that I’m charging up to 62.5% of my battery. If my logic and math correct I can safely charge up to 95% and be around 80%. Good for my battery life.

Model Y RWD is now long range (May 3) in the US

I purchased my 2024 MY on 3/31. It was $32,530.00 after the tax rebate, $34,170.00 after destination and order fee, and $38,020 after tax title registration etc. Overall, I felt like I was getting a great value. Not it's even better imho. MSRP was $43,990.00 discounted at almost $4K. Not...

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

Hehhe, I figured it was the MM/YY, but is there really a surgical way of knowing the exact date. Not that it would make a difference for me. As far as I'm concerned, I bought something that was wrapped up in the month I bought the vehicle. Good enough for me

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

Hello, sorry for the late replry. Mine was built in Freemont. Makes sense, given that I live in California. :) If that's the built date, mine was built 3/24 as well. totally unrelated topic, the load cannot exceed 375 KG or 826 pounds. I weigh about 220 pounds, so I really gotta be careful...

NEMA 10-30 to 14-50 adapter and extension cord

nk you @terranx. According to Tesla, https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/charging_docs/gen_2_umc/Gen2_UMC_Manual_en_US.pdf, the mobile connector is recommended to be left plugged. I plan on getting a few electricians giving me quotes this week. If installation cost isn't prohibitive...

NEMA 10-30 to 14-50 adapter and extension cord

Wow, I got a post from 2019 that helped me. I believe, based on what I read here, I can but the gen2 10-30 adapter and the mobile connecter (cart below) and just plug and set the Amp to 24. I also ready many posts that suggest not unplugging on a continuous basis. Would it hurt if I leave the...

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

Hi All, I received the delivery of my 2024 MY on 3/31. This forum is such great source of all information. I didn't order a mobile connector yet, so I get advantage of the 5K Miles promotion, but I'll order one this week. I plan on leaving connected when not using, that's understood to the L2...
