Yes but after all the hype of having an "Insane" mode would make zero sense as to why they would remove it though. I get the 85D having one mode though.. But the P85D is known for the Insane mode, and taking that away would be a bad business move and also upset some customers I'm sure.

Tesla has changed their advertised power ratings many times thus far. Do you have an explanation as to why other models are outputting more than advertised amounts of power, based on Inverter kW input ratings vs the P85D which puts out much less? It seems other models almost directly correlate...

Great, I am not projecting that to everyone. So your solar can over generate / charge the battery and then you can use the battery vs drawing from the grid then. If they are ripping you off and only paying wholesale, a battery makes sense for you too.

wrong on all accounts. The P85D outputs only up to 411-414kW at the inverter which is barely 560HP The P85 has been shown to output 360-370kW which is well over the advertised 417HP, closer to 460-470HP The S85D has been shown to output over 371kWh which again, is closer to 460-470HP...

If this is the case, its just another reason why Tesla should not be advertising the car with 691HP, as clearly there are hardware limitations that do not allow the car at any point make 691 horsepower. If the battery is limiting the power, then the car is NOT 691HP, however you spin it...
