First no charger, now no key fob, what's next??

hahahha, that’s nothing! Here in Europe they sell model s/x without delivering a car since a couple of years back. No cars on the horizon and no upgrade path for us who want a new car. They simply doesn’t exist, only broken promises at this point. Many loyal buyers looking at alternatives now.

How to find out even an estimated quarter of an estimated year of delivery?

oook, just speculation- no leaks really. Doubt we’ll see them this year :-(

How to find out even an estimated quarter of an estimated year of delivery?

What delivery leaks would that be? Everyone here who ordered is kept in the dark.

How to find out even an estimated quarter of an estimated year of delivery?

They claimed second half of 2022, but don’t believe it until you’ve seen it. Tesla truly awfully dropped the ball with model s/x and ’the rest of the world’. The communication is emitting Hawking radiation at this point. I hope to get delivery next year q2-q3, as hope is the last thing that...

“Voltage supply too low” and BMS errors

I just opened a service ticket with the app and said I wanted a quote as I now got a 90kwh that was throttled (basically booked a service visit) - got reply next day. I paid the invoice and the reconfiguration will be done remotely in the upcoming week.

“Voltage supply too low” and BMS errors

Fyi, I got to unlock remaining capacity for approx 800EUR so it’ll officially be a 90kwh car now, for some longer trips that’s handy and thinking it’ll pay itself back in resale anyway.

    New 85kWH battery for my 2013 P85+

But that is exactly the reason why American and imperial gallons differ in volume!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 really!

Ok, it's the 1014116-00-B 90kWH part, not reman, seems I am getting lucky!

Under warranty. Unclear what replacement I will get as of yet. Can try to report back with exact model when I get it.

“Voltage supply too low” and BMS errors

yeah, I got the ground stud front replaced previously: Corrections: Vehicle Alerts General Diagnosis Inspected the costumer concern and found that the front rail ground stud is corroded. Corrections: Grounding Stud - Front Rail - RH The grounding needs to be removed and replaced.

“Voltage supply too low” and BMS errors

12v replaced this year and was measured at 12.1V when being towed when trying to resuscitate the car. I have a vague memory fixing one ground stud earlier , but there are so many trips to SC with the car over time I’ve frankly lost track - that being said I still have loved this car, but hope...

“Voltage supply too low” and BMS errors

Got towed with dead car (couldn’t be put in gear, then screens went black). 12V replaced during last year. Tower tried giving 12V through external booster, but screen stayed black. 2015 P85DL see screenshot. Anyone has a clue what could be root cause?

    Yoke steering confirmed variable-ratio

Looking forward to the new round wheel design with a perfectly transparent optical quality glass half on the upper half - then you can see through it instead, but still have a proper wheel.

Steering pulls right when turning right, like highway speeds and in exits/ramps

The pro forma invoice I’ve got before they even have had a look contains a replacement of: Intermediate Shaft - Steering Column - Lower (Dual Motor)

Steering pulls right when turning right, like highway speeds and in exits/ramps

did you sort this out? I have exactly the same with my p85dl. Quite sure they did the steering bolt recall adjustment in one of my 20 visits to the SC…

    Weird steering wheel behavior

(Stuck — much more force needed to continue turning and it won’t come back if release wheel as it usually would if not applying force)

    Weird steering wheel behavior

Some more info: the steering wheel seems to get stuck both left/right when going to 90 degrees or more - need to apply force to move it back to center many guesses on cause? Ok to drive?

    Weird steering wheel behavior

I just had the feeling that the steering felt weird and nailed it down to the following: when turning right and releasing torque, the steering wheel goes back to neutral position as usual when I release torque on the wheel. ‘’when turning left, it goes much more slowly and almost a bit choppy...

Yeah, for new orders only - I waited to place an order for a Plaid+ until the first deliveries were made in february-march to get some reviews... LOL. But good luck with the November estimated delivery! (sincerely) I would't bet on it.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Over here deliveries are Q1 2022. Except for Plaid+, that is (presumable much) later. Basically a year out. I'm amazed of the absolute clusterf*ck the new rollout is.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Yeah. Quite content I didn't place that order for the Plaid+ as I planned to. Will now wait until it is actually delivered to others. Get this bad feeling like they marketed the P85D from the beginning with like 692hp. Just not practically true.

Well, I've just started to view what Elon spouts out as what this guy used to do: Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf - Wikipedia Then there's no disappointments. Better go on what's reported by actual owners as being delivered - that is what truly exists in the real world - not even the website is...

    Model S redesign range guesses?

Although they are late - again. No shipment Q1, lets see if they manage to ship any updates during Q2. I'm getting a bit sad thinking the 4680 will add too much Elon time to it, not expecting it for real here in Europe until Q3 next year now unless they start to get their house in order. The...

    About that "yoke" steering wheel

That would be nice. But they hardly do that for most of the new features they roll out. Anyway, you can get the usual round one instead, it seems it will be an option.

    About that "yoke" steering wheel

I think it is just the right way to think about it, my experience from driving left-traffic (after a 30 hour flight) was that it was a non-issue after the first hour or so. Then it felt weird when I came home, almost drove on wrong side of the road first time when back... :-)

    Plaid vs Plaid+ visual differences?

that’s cool. I personally think it’s disingenuous to call something vegan leather. Better to have a brand like alcantara Otherwise we could call cars mechanical horses. Better to use new terms for new things.

Service Bulletin out on Hard Acceleration "Shudder"

Fully agree 100%. This is one reason why I don't upgrade to the Plaid until I've seen how it survives the first few months. Unless they've really learnt something and done their homework, I doubt a Plaid powertrain allows the half-shafts to survive more than a couple of months. Much less the...

    About that "yoke" steering wheel

Should give him credit for pulling together the next team. What they accomplished was serious nextgen for its time. It’s the foundation tech for all apple devices software today and saved apple from extinction in the late 90s. The late mr Jobs might have been an a-hole in the 80s, but the...
