Taking delivery there also. My EDD is 3/23-3/30. I used the app to message someone yesterday regarding proof of insurance, and they told me that my vehicle had a tentative delivery date to Oneida on 3/20.

I woke up this morning to a message - I received my VIN! EDD updated to 3/23-3/30.

After ordering on 1/11, and not having a single EDD update, today is the day I’ve been excited for. Hopeful for delivery within the month!

Texted the SA I worked with and they told me.

The LR is going to be worth the wait IMO. I drove both RWD and AWD at my demo, and felt as though the AWD was significantly more enjoyable, and the interior did feel more premium to me all around.

Decided to book my first demo drive today to lift the spirits and confirm I’m making the right decision. Maybe driving a Model 3 will manifest a VIN haha

I’m curious if anyone knows when VIN is assigned? I am wondering if, in some cases, the vehicles are shipped to their delivery locations, and then assigned? Only reason I ask is that I know shipping time in the US from coast-coast can take up to 1-2 weeks. I’d anticipate receiving a VIN...

Yeah, my bad guys. I've watched this forum grow for the past few weeks but haven't been able to check regularly enough to notice AWD deliveries. Spreadsheet is awesome, so thank you to the author! Hopeful for an update this week.... it's been a long month LOL

I ordered on 1/11 and didn't get an update for about a week and a half. Since then, nothing. My advice is to not get too worked up over it and enjoy the ride lol.

I’m in nearly the same situation. No update, no change, and I did complete my financing this past weekend. Hopefully won’t have an issue with getting it approved again :/

I feel as though there are infinite reasons as to why everyone is having a slightly different experience (location, order date, spec). Glad we’re all excited and enjoying the experience! A rite-of-passage, it seems.

For those of you who have received their VIN: did you get a notification/text from Tesla notifying you, or did you just continue to check your app 100+ times a day like me?

Yeah, it's pretty weird how the EDDs are changing. I ordered on the 11th of January, and many others with the same configuration as me have VIN assigned and EDDs within the next week or so. Likely due to living on the east coast. Hopeful for an update this week.

Just curious, how do you determine if you have a "soft match"? I ordered my LR on the app without assistance from a SA so that might be the difference too. I'm not sure if I have a SA to reach out to!

The month-long EDD is where I'm a little lost. Getting eager to apply for financing and start getting quotes for insurance, however the companies I've reached out to need the VIN to secure the loan/policy. I'm hopeful we will receive some more focused EDD in the coming week(s).
