I just confirmed with NRMA - they insure with the compliance / year in the rego. This is for NSW though They did ask what series it is for 2024 Model Y. For series I mentioned MY23

since you're gonna get the car post Jan 1, you have to apply for stamp duty refund from Revenue NSW instead of it being $0 previously

Has been two weeks now since GC's last departure from the port. The two previous iterations - it went back to the port in 2 week increments. I am curious how long it will be. If the stink bug is in really bad shape, perhaps they will wait for 4 weeks before going back in? so that brings us to...

Just called Revenue NSW and they confirmed that $400 order fee is classified as a deposit, just need to provide receipt that you've made this transaction. They said that they will update the website today with more details They did flag though that Stamp Duty Excemption will not be applied...

Damn if the $400 order fee is not classified as deposit then lots of people will get affected by this unknowingly. Im calling Tesla and Revenue NSW to be sure...
