PIC REQUEST!! Can anyone please share what your back up cam looks like with a single 1up rack folded up? I currently have a Kuat NV (double) and it covers my entire screen when backing up. Considering getting a single 1up because from what I see on this thread, it looks like it sits fairly low...

Interesting…so you think if I keep that plugged in the car will assume I am towing and stay in trailer mode? It literally takes me 5 seconds to put it in trailer mode when I head out but would be nice to not have to, every single time.

Thinking of picking up the single 1up as well. I’ve got the double kuat with the +2 add on in the garage. 99% of the time Im just carrying my bike so its overkill for my daily needs. Just selling anything bike related right now sux.

Thats what Im trying to avoid. I dont use autopilot (yet) so I think I’ll just leave it in trailer mode for now.

I would have to check but I think the clearance is minimal, a few inches maybe.

So if I turn off trailer mode and silence the chimes, will the car drive normal or will the bike rack throw anything else off. In other words trailer mode being on or off ONLY affects the reverse cam and nothing else?

Ya I think I’ll do that. All the warning buzzes gets very distracting. New to this car so just want to make sure its still safe to drive with it off.

Will that throw anything else off? I just want the least amount of disruptions while Im driving. So I guess this means trailer mode cant be permanently engaged?

Hi all, picked up a MYP a few days ago with the tow hitch. I mtb and emtb regularly so the bike rack (kuat nv for those that care) has to stay on. I notice that the trailer mode doesnt stay on and I frequently have to enable it before heading out. Is there a way to leave it on permanently?
