Well, my dashboard still says "In Production" but I talked to my DS last night and he said it's in final inspections. It won't be delivered before I leave town for the holidays so it looks like I'll be flying home for a day to pick it up.

Tesla has had my $130k since 12/4, but I'm still in the black hole. They will clearly miss the promised delivery date (before my holiday travels) but still no communication from my DS. I'm a huge Tesla fan, but at this point I'm pretty disappointed.

My DS (Andrew in Illinois) told me in email this morning, "As soon as we are ready to have it loaded on a carrier and shipped to our service center, we will be able to nail down a precise date together."

Regardless of Monroneygate, I just got the email from Tesla asking for final payment for my P85D. I'm taking that as a positive sign.

I got the same email today, even though my order has been confirmed for weeks.
