Mine is happening in the daytime without headlights on and behaves differently from a fob press. There’s no double chime sound when pressing my fob to lock or unlock the doors while driving. Only the map lights come on.

Tried the fob to unlock doors while driving and only the lights came on. No ding ding chime... must be something else.

I had my 2017 100D in for this and they repaired it same day. All better now. Free - under warranty still.

Newer ones also don’t have the chrome in the bottom center of the back. That’s the easiest way to tell.
