Ping! Ever get a fix?

Wow! I JUST had this exact same behavior start tonight. Including the odd lag on the main screen and the gear selector lights on the front console (which are supposed to go away when screen believes it’s acting normally). So car knows something is wrong with the screens. Did you ever get a fix?

SOLUTION FOUND! My Tesla Ranger replaced a single micro switch in the console and the system now operates normally. Didn’t have to replace the whole console. Took an hour or two. Woot! Thanks to those posting their progress with this!

Has anyone found a good product to organize any of the Plaid's center console compartments and keep stuff from just knocking around in there? Or to keep a few pairs of sunglasses organized in the upper slide tray?

Same boat. Waiting to hear that Tesla is at least aware of the problem. This was a LOT easier when you could just email Jerome directly.

Same issue with my Plaid delivered Dec 6. Clearly incorrect behavior. Keep posting on outcome please. I’ll file a service ticket with Kansas City as soon as I know someone knows what the hell to do about it.

Also, consider the follow proximity setting ( the left stalk twist adjustable that goes from 1-7 ). It gets a lot smoother with a higher number. I keep mine at 5 for this very reason.

It's more even than that. There's less regen power as the car comes closer to stop. Regen used to be pretty forceful all the way down to 10 or 15 mph. Now, it loses most of its decel by 20 or more.

With my P85D, on the firmware update 1 prior to .188, I noticed almost immediately that regen was MUCH less aggressive (in standard mode, always) than in all firmwares before. It's slower to come on and has far less pull-down than before. As a consequence, I'm finding myself using the brakes at...

I had that same thought. Wishful indeed, and unlikely to be met by reality, I'm afraid. Haven't gotten the call yet, btw, and I was early in the black hole, so production order seems out.

Had to take my bike (a Gary Fisher 29'er) into the shop today. I can state with certainty it fits. Even before you take a wheel off which is always an option.

Seemed that way on mine the other day. I took it to the nearby supercharger and it was putting out > 100amp at 350V until right toward the end.

I don't get it.… it's supposed to be from us... why have joke VINs and such instead of the actual signatures of some TMC owners and their VINs?
