Just a quick update for whatever benefit it may serve to existing or potential new customers (from a customer service standpoint). I officially cancelled my pending order on a new MS. So Tesla just lost me as a customer. Will go elsewhere.

UPDATE: Its now November and it's been fairly cold all month (40s and high 30s). As suspected, I pretty much now get this every I time I start the car. It goes away immediately and I ignore it, but definitely feels odd.

Collision warning beeps use to sound when I pulled in/out of my garage. About 1-2 weeks ago the beeps went away. I still have a visual indicator and approximate distance/feet from the edges, but no more audible beeps? Did something change?

It's been 4 months now since I took delivery (and replacement of the DU). The issue has not resurfaced since.

Update on original issue: 11 days have elapsed since getting my rear DU replaced. The notification has NOT resurfaced. So it looks like that indeed solved it. I have been enjoying this car a lot and am very happy (despite a rocky start).

That's great. You also got to put those 600-700 miles on the loaner. Although it would have been nice to see how your new car would take the trip. Does Tesla have a SC in Jackson? I received good service too. Now lets hope the cars hold up :)

Hmmm. That's not pleasant to hear at all. Sorry about your situation. At this point I don't know what to expect as there are people who apparently have no issues at all and others with nothing but. Time will ultimately tell.

Glad you have it back. I have had mine back 4 days now. Put around 150 miles on it. So far (knock on wood) no more warnings.
