Same with me, HW3 about 6 weeks ago, then a couple weeks later glitching started (nav fail, voice fail...) then finally MCU down / up / completely down.
My 2017 Model S MCU went out at the weekend, when away with the family, and my signals would not work. Which i discovered when turning off highway 101 going down hill, and was almost rear-ended by the car behind oblivious to me turning.
The SC just told me they reset the corrupted memory chip...
I'm on 50.2 - there's now a reindeer in the 'games' page when you touch the Tesla icon. Or apparently you can just voice command it, but haven't tried that.
You need to ignore the inventory page 0-60s and range. They are messed up all over the place. They have S90D's with a range of 286 when they really are 295, they have S100Ds with 0-60 of 3.3 secs when they are 4.1. And yes MX's with the wrong acceleration too. There was a 0-60 increase for cars...
2 more Ss and 3 more Xs with BTX7s popped up on new inventory today (see ev-cpo), mostly with 1-2k miles on them, so maybe test driven with the pack (just speculation). One of the X's might be very close to me, so will see if I can find it tomorrow and check out the battery.
All BTX8s are 85KWH. There's been a few photos posted of their sticker. That's a done deal. But none delivered in US.
But no BTX7 photos, which only exist in a sample of deliveries in the US. Most S/X 75s have BTX5s.
So there are still some BTX7 packs (all with code BR05: limited) coming out of production it seems, another Model X hit inventory today.
But AFAIK we still do not have a photo of the pack sticker for one. That will answer at least one big Q, is it a bigger pack like the BTX8 or not.
Assuming...
Not my experience. My 30 days expires this week, and my new car is ready for pickup, but my sale of my old car is not final yet, so I asked if I could take delivery next week, and the SC said sure, and they went head and reset the finance to expire at the end of Sept, still with the 0.99%. So...
No experience with this hitch, but it is cheap, the manufacturer gets pretty good reviews for other hitch models on Amazon, and they have free shipping today. The instruction pdf states 2.5 hours to install for a professional, and here's an installed pic they include:
A recent delivery of a S90D had the same battery pack as they were using on S90Ds for the last couple of years, so pretty sure its not going have any hidden bonus.
I assume you are referring to the reported 81.8 KWH vs 98.4 KWH usable capacity between these two packs. Which is a big gap, and yet the EPA range rating is 294 vs 335 miles, i.e. the 90D is 88% that of the 100D. Maybe there are some other minor benefits such as the supercharging curve, but...
They've been building a bunch of them for the last week. Identical to 75Ds but cost 5.5k more. Which seems fair, given the only benefit is 35 miles more range, and a nicer badge. I bought one, and should be picking it up later this week.
Priced low as my new S90D is being delivered next week. I already have an offer for 52K from a dealer who will resell it, so asking for 1.5k more in case any private buyer wants it, and is ready and able to purchase in the next few days. Serious, informed, ready buyers only please. Ideally only...
Yes, I already nabbed one. But I did seem more than one listed as in production, so I guess one or two might appear in the next few days, but they might have also been taken too. Best to go into a SC and ask them to look.
These are spec'd the same as current builds, but with a 90KWH. The few I listed do not have PUP (e.g. hifi, sub zero), but they do have the recent 75D inclusions (e.g., air suspension, lighting, liftgate).
Here's an example thanks to ev-cpo
There's a bunch (I think I saw approx 20, looking over the shoulder at the SC) of inventory S90D's coming off the production line currently / ongoing. A variety of colors, but it seems mostly w limited options. Approx 10 have already been released and can be purchased, see below. All discounted...
I just stopped by my SC and they did a search and indeed did find many new S90Ds coming off the line today, all with the 7.5k discount. Many colors, all textile interior, EAP, no PUP, APH3.
My 75D order was an exact match spec-wise and for 5k more, this was an easy up sell. I guess it will also...
Still available. Here's some more photos
One owner, 85 kWh battery with AUTOPILOT, 24k miles.
Metallic blue body and roof, optional black performance leather interior and piano black decor. 19 inch wheels, with original tires only used in non-winter months, i.e., half the time, so maybe 50%...
FWIW, there have been 20 Model S and 25 Model X BXT7 / BR05 inventory cars to date, the first of them being added in March, based on the ev-cpo search of archived records. And I assume far more that never made it into the inventory.
So even though there's a report of (one of) these having a...
It could be all those things. Or maybe the only upgrade is the reported 3.3sec 0-60 for the 100Ds (currently only being delivered in Europe) that might spur this. Plus a mounting inventory and the quarter looming during a pivotal time for the company.
New Tesla ordered, so selling my S85.
