UMC Charges at 8 amp even though the tail is rated 10 amp

2023.20.9 is out now and the alerts in the car say "Charge connector update in progress". But it's still limited for 8A for me

UMC Charges at 8 amp even though the tail is rated 10 amp

Ok so I updated to 2023.20.7 with contained 'bugfixes' - however this hasn't fixed the issue. Confirmed by Tesla Service that my car has tried to push the update but it has failed. Hoping the next release fixes it..

UMC Charges at 8 amp even though the tail is rated 10 amp

I had a firmware update to my car last night that I hoped would fix it. Unfortunately the update failed to apply.. so I haven't been able to test. If anyone else is able to update & test that would be great :)

Have you had any luck? I'm in NZ trying to update the UMC too but it doesn't seem to want to.
