That does suck (for the technician and for us!) but I grew up in Susquehanna Twp and went to middle school down the street. I have some rental properties near the site and while the Township may not be as great as it once was, I find nothing wrong with the location other than the insane traffic...

Just spoke to the tesla tech. He is "commissioning " the stalls now. He said they will just need ppl to complete the inspection. I asked when it would be done and he said maybe early next or "sooner". Really cool to watch him do his thing.

It would be a shame for you to miss it, as you've documented the crap out the site. Is there a day that works better for you?

If you don't have a chadMo then the Antique Auto Museum in Hershey is your next best bet.

Kevin. Do you ever use the chargers on the Turnpike? I've used them often and its great when, like you, I want a few extra miles. Obviously the SC will solve that problem..

Guess they didn't need township approval! As I mentioned in the original post, this is a great location with access to 81, 83 and the Turnpike. I will post some pictures today as well. I live 10 minutes away.

Correct. Susquehanna Twp hasn't had the SC on their agenda yet but I know that the lease has been signed.

Drove over the other day, nothing going on. The proposed site is in Susquehanna Township. But there is nothing on the agenda for their planning commission at their upcoming meeting. Not sure if this would need township approval but assume it would. I will talk to my friend who sits on that...

My office is just down the street from the Hershey Antique Auto Musuem, its a nice museum and nice place to stop. If you want some food choices in the area, let me know! I will be in tomorrow from 9-5 if you want to borrow my chademo adapter for one of the Sheetz Chademo's though as well

Not sure why you define that as the "ghetto". Lots of restaurants, a Lowes, a Sheetz, a starbucks, hotels, a hospital close by....

I live about 5 miles from the site. I will do a drive by. Doubt anything started yet as the lease has just been inked. Not sure if it has to go through the normal local approvals or if they can just start.

Just heard that the lease was signed that's how I know the site. The township is pretty lax, so hopefully it goes quickly (but obviously you never know). The site is just next to the Weis Markets (grocery) store and near Jimmy John's Subs/Starbucks. Its a pretty busy area and in the next 4-5...

The turnpike is pretty close to there. Just hop on 83->283 to turnpike. Maybe 6 miles.
